For the life of me I don’t know why Braydon Johnson is not even ranked from Ponchatoula.That kid plays harder than just about any kid I ever seen and just straight runs through people.There is no way he can’t be developed into a stud Linebacker or maybe even a solid full back.One of the best unranked players I have seen personally

I think the staff will focus on Perkins, Matthews, Etienne/Citizen/another RB, and Zavion Thomas/AJ Johnson/another WR as far as high school recruits go. I would bet they have their eye on a few that Kelly was familiar with at Notre Dame.
I also think we'll be looking at OL, LB, and DB in the portal.
We have time now. About a month and a half until signing day. The portal is not complete yet, either, so names will continue to flow in now through the end of spring.

Before the season, I thought DT Maxie Boudoin IV, of Ascension Episcopal was going to be one of the best. He looks the part at 6’6, 290.
But it appears he has dropped. Perhaps he didn’t have a good senior season.
Certainly Matthews, Citizen, Zavion Thomas, Danny Lewis will get some good offers.

No need to panic this year. Lots of shifting in CFB recruiting. We are in a transition year need to let Kelly steer the ship and just man the oars.

No doubt.I don’t think you can ask for much more given the circumstances of how quickly the signing period comes after getting a coach plus all the negative press.Look at Clemson,Dabo still there and we recruit as well as them with no coaches in place at all in key positions.We will be fine next year I believe

I watched those HUDL highlights, and Danny Lewis and J'Mari Monette look like SEC athletes for sure. Lewis has been talked about for a while, but this is the first time I've seen Monette mentioned.

Boudoin ended up signing with Tulane.
Brock Harvey sure looks the part. He gives off a Christian Lacouture vibe. Plays hard, well coached, definitely has spent time in the weight room. There's a viable question about whether he's maxed out athletically, which you get from some of those West Monroe kids, but he does look like a kid who could get into your playing rotation and make a contribution.
