Good catch ????????

I envision a (seemingly) more balanced attack, early on, next year.
Brennan could start out more as a game manager and RB by committee with TDP, Emery and Evans 55/45 rush to pass.

Just from what vol has said I think CEH is gone. TDP is getting the carries now, so that’s who I would imagine will be the thumper next year for sure. Emory will play a ton if he gets the playbook and the blocks down.

Have a lone upvote. I have thougfht the same thing while enjoying the season. It is what makes CFB fun IMO. It looks like CEH may go pro and TDP will take the top spot but EWmery and Evans will have plenty of playing time if they can learn the playbook, block, and hold on to the football.

This topic of conversation is redundant at his time...
Edit: I do hope we get Evans.

If CEH goes pro, I would imagine it would be an open competition, which I have no idea who would win, but they will probably all see the field

quote:Lets assume he does go pro, it is completely normal to have a 3 player running back by committee. It’s also a lot cooler when you have two 5-stars and a 4star who at the this time would be the lead back.

At this time man last year many assumed it would be Emery this season. He is third team. It does not matter what everyone thinks , we don't know and we have no clue as to all of the criteria tha foes into the decsiion as to who plays.

What is Santa's 40 time and shuttle? I like that he is a big-bodied back that runs North and South but I worry about his elusiveness and top end speed. We cant afford to have an RB getting caught from behind. And we need someone who can make a guy miss in the open field. I also want to see more highlights of his catching and pass blocking. Cant just be a brute downhull runner in this new Joe Brady offense. I hope those elves in the North Pole are practicing throwing presents to Mr. Claus this winter.

Saying RB1 will be the starting RB is like saying the next President of the U.S. will be the Commander in Chief. I need specifics man.??

Emery looks like the most explosive/best home run threat, but it's clear the coaches trust him the least of the 3-4 guys right now. If he can get to the point where he understands what to do on the field, then he very well may be the starter simply because he provides more of a threat in the passing game.
I'm sure I'll get lambasted, but I'm not 100% sold on Evans being a great back at the college level. Watching his highlights you see a guy who appears to be just much more physically gifted than the competition. But you don't necessarily see great vision which guys like Hill, Guice and CEH brought/bring to the table. He reminds me more of Fournette. OBVIOUSLY that isn't a bad thing, but in LSU's new offense which is predicated on getting guys in space vs. the old power offense of the Miles days, you wonder if he is a great fit? Certainly it's better to have him and be proven wrong than not have him at all, but I feel like Emery may be more of a "fit" (assuming he understands his assignments)

CEH will go in the top three rounds of the NFL Draft.
Rumors out there that Curry is transferring (hope he stays)
It’s up for grabs but I’m sure we’ll see a lot more of Emery after having a year under his belt (learning the playbook, etc)
That’s a nasty trio if Evans signs.

CEH better not come back if his dream is to play in the league. His moment is now.

Whoever earns it. Orgeron has already proved that he will play the best player. That’s why Emery isn’t playing right now. He hasn’t earned it

I will play:
I think emery emerges if ceh bolts.
