Who out of this class do you think is a first round pick?

I love recruiting because there are no guarantees on both sides of the star ranking system.
Sometimes guys like Jefferson, Hester, and more recently Mason Taylor outperform their rankings.
Sometimes guys like Clifton Garrett, Marcel Brooks, and Arik Gilbert underperform or bust off their rankings.
Who do you guys think in this class will be a future first rounder?
This is the time to call your shot so you can bump in 3-4 years and have some internet bragging rights!
I think Jaxon Howard is that guy in this class. He has position versatility and can be an inside/outside rusher in the mold of Travon Walker. He seems to be a leader in this class and I look forward to seeing him terrorize opposing QBs

I think this will be the first class in CFB history where every single player is a first round pick. The 2026 NFL draft will feature 32 first round NFL picks from lsu

Dashawn Womack will be a household name for LSU by 2024 season

I’m calling Kyle Parker.

There's a lot who are more than capable of being a 1st rounder, but I'll say Kylin Jackson. I think he's a balanced S who does it all and can mold into a future 1st rounder.

Womack and Heard.
Raw physical talent and protype bodies at positions the NFL values highly.

Nyckoles Harbor is a lock if he's willing to play TE. That much size+speed is just a problem if he learns how to be even a mediocre route runner. He could also probably get there as a WR, but TE is his more natural position/is enough of a matchup problem that it doesn't rely on him becoming an elite route runner to get there. LBer on a 6'5 receiver that runs a 10 second 100 just isn't fair.
Dante Moore seems like the real deal at QB, but "best QB in the class" is a pretty lazy answer to the question even if it's the highest probability of happening.
Zalance Heard might not get there, but he has the body of first tackle taken.
Those are the only 3 that LSU was in the mix for at one point or the other that stand out as being particularly likely. With this much talent there's almost assuredly going to be a surprise or two, but those 3 stand out as being the serious ballers of the class.

Didn't Moore go with Oregon?

While I intended to keep this only to LSU’s class, I failed to mention that in the OP so all recruits are free game.

I thought Harbor only wanted to play TE?

Dashawn Womack is my pick, I wish 5 of them would be

The run on defensive lineman we had in July was amazing. Womack, Howard and Reed have nearly unlimited potential.
