Shea said a while ago that a DL from one of the new coaches former schools will graduate and transfer to LSU in the spring. As far as I know nobody has figured out who. He said more recently that he expects 2 dl transfers which is why they cooled on the juco kid

Let it play out. Lots of positive news though. Jenkins is there and willing from Tulane. But as I hear it. That would be a back up plan. They have feelers out of Conference. Listening. 1 name popped up,would be huge . But it’s Nill era. So thiings change, when offers come in from other teams. NCAA will run out of money shortly, and be total Non factors in , invading anyone’s team players. And just give straight out offers , knowing near zero chance of litigation in retaliation. Just remember , goes both ways , though. Don’t think for a minute, this staff fighting off other teams offers , especially the WR group. Bout all I heard.

Lil off topic but the last piece of our NIL in Baton Rouge has I believe been solved, without too many panties wadded by the donors. Folks when we get this NIL comparative to the other big boys

It most certainly is but literally NO RULES !!! SEC and Big 10 heads been talking for quite some time. How to make NCAA totally out picture. And “ NFL LIKE . Rules including most important CAPS on the obvious overpayment of SOME athletes.

Student will still be able to make NIL on himself, that can NEVER be taken away by Universities. But the student /athlete LOL. Can’t believe still called that, but anyhow each individual will have to do their Own NIL $$$$$. Not just given assure amounts of $$$ in most circumstances by boosters.
