That's a good one, though not as legendary as pre-Madonna.

Na he has God given size which all college coaches love trust me I know you can teach skill you can't teach size and speed

That’s exactly my point. He’s blessed with all the tools. Give the kid some time to refine his game.

So many Trolls on the Recruiting Board these days

Did some of you even listen to the whole interview? It seems like many in here listened to the first 5 minutes then based their opinion off of that!
If you watch the whole interview then you’d see where he mentions liking the attention he’s getting from all over and he looked like he got more and more comfortable. Imo Jordy was very good and professional in this interview and didn’t make it all about the kid.
He talked about his High Schools talent pool, their pride in academics, other big time players, his love for basketball, his coaches desire to be a role model for the kids, other schools of interest without being a homer and then he got to LSU last and Imo you can see him breath easier when he talked about Texas and LSU. I think he believes Bama is too strict and he doesn’t seem like the kid that takes to that style well. He’s more of a let me do it myself and you guide me kind of kid. Which is fine because he looks to have a good mindset about his game and wants to be the best.
I bet it’s hard to keep these kids grounded with all this super hero treatment. That has got to get in their heads sometimes. That is what ruins these high level talents on many occasions. I love Masson Smith for that reason, you could see that he knew that was part of it and didn’t pay any attention to it. That kids going to be very good! This guy is in the mold if they can keep him grounded. Have fun with it but don’t start believing in the hype.
I think we safe here because of Masson Smith and the new DL coach and DC. I don’t think LSU has put the pressure on yet, they are talking to him but letting him have his space and when the season gets under way, then they’ll turn up the heat on these high level Louisiana talents! I think we good with all of Wiggins, Tapp, Mathews, Law and Preston.
That’s some serious talent right there, I don’t care what their ranking, these guys are NFL talents. All top 10 at their positions. Forget ranks! If we could some how land some of those OOS DL, LBs and OLman then this could be a number 1-2 class!

Remember back when we led for Shemar Stewart? I have a good feeling that Quency is the quasi replacement and we will be far better off for it and Quency was nowhere near the radar back then. LA kids are always going to be the backbone of this program

Did none of you catch what Quency said at the end of the interview?
Jordy asked him about NIL, generally.
Quency: I've been paying attention to it. Me and Coach O been looking into it, trying to figure out what it's gonna be like when I get there; how we're gonna brand ourselves...
Did he tip his hand there??

If Quincy didn’t want to do the interview he could have said no? Jordy getting the interviews he gets separates himself from the others imo.
Also, he’s a freak athlete (reported 4.5 sec 40 yrd dash and a 37” vertical at 6’7” 273lbs)and being able to interview a kid who could go number one overall in the NFL draft is crazy. I mean name another athlete that’s had numbers like that in recent years drafts?

I've reached the age that I don't "worry" about a recruit but I still love keeping up with it

Some people get too emotional over recruiting. I love to follow it but nowadays these kids want everyone to watch their every move and they are clearly drumming up interest for their "Brand".
