who i would like to see LSU finish with

imo, we are loaded at safety and CB already. I would really like to see...
-both Joiner and Pooka. I think Joiner is a bruiser and Pooka would be great in Canada offense
-Marshal; even tho I think this class is loaded with WR, marshal is a future superstar
-either Rodgers or Foster at QB. we have 2 unproven guys now and need a quality QB in the class
- one quality DE; haven't really paid enough attention to who is available.
-either Surtain or Cook as lock down corner
I just think that offense should be more of a priority than defense in closing this class out.
I am worried about our offense going forward, esp at QB and RB

You have to take Surtain, Cook, and Joseph if they want to sign. But that's only because they're elite prospects imo.

I understand but you have to make up for the lack of recruiting linemen by the previous staff,with that said 1 of those 3

I think you hope they take 5 OL, right now they have 4. But don't we have atleast one guy on the DL that's projected to move to the other side of the ball?

There’s your final 5. No cook. No QB. Prob good enough for top 10, which is fine. A lot better than where it was a couple months ago.

I think we will be able to add a few more guys, maybe 2 when some currently committed guys don't stick.

We have enough linemen already signed in this class
You have to take Joseph, Surtain, Marshall, Joiner, and a QB
Those 5 are a must

sure top 10 is fine. but I am not hung up on that at all. at this stage of the game I think needs should trump ratings. I would rather sign 2 RB's and a QB than have too many DBs or WR's. if we are going to lose 3 OL to the draft another OL would be great also. I just think that we have 1 or 2 junior OL guys stay. I hope to hell Clapp does.

I find it hard to believe that all 20 of our commits will sign in Dec. if they don't sign, they will be considered risks, and the recruiting will begin.
I think we will see lots of fluidity with the class after early period. Unless they all somehow sign, which would be a surprise to me. I think most will, like 16 or so, maybe more, who knows, but people are going to move around IMO.
This is all new to everyone so there will be complications and learning curves.

I think we will take a QB. Following Canada's "fool's errand" trip they'll evaluate chances and narrow it down to one and tell him "we've decided we want you in this class". Right now: Foster, Rogers (long shot flip?), Bohannon. Maybe Corral gets an offer depending on how Canada percieved him. Not as far as attitude, but as far as do we want to risk not getting one of those 3.

No way we don't take them. The OP's question was who would we like to see, not who we'll get. So I included Cook; even though it's looking real good for him.
4. A RB, gonna have to be Joiner.
5. Marshall, Chase, or Watkins.
I think we get Marshall. I think Chase would be just as good replacement, but he's not coming IMO. If Marshall surprises us, Watkins should get the call.
With this list obviously several won't get in under the numbers. Obviously Joseph. If we could get a suprise top-flight OL maybe one of the others gets invited to look elsewhere. Means Pooka is out.
All that is conditional on NFL scouts, draft grades, and what the coaches have found out by talking to the eligible players themselves.
Grimes visited some rather long shots in FL and GA... tells me they think both interior OL (Clapp and Brumfield) are staying. Seems they think at least one DB is gone; maybe both. But they definitely have a better feel than my NSWAGs (non-scientific wild arse guesses) and that will shape that list.
And maybe we don't take a QB. To me tells me something about how Narcisse is progressing. Helluva a risk though.

Keep in mind also that Travez Moore may have grade problems that may prevent him from signing early. He may have to wait til February and I don't think we wait on that. Also, Washington is still listening and taking a visit to TCU. I'd let him go. We have players to play nickleback so we don't need him. That's 2 extra spots that could possibly open up
