A left-handed Dak Prescott. Height and weight are about the same. Arm strength and accuracy look close as well. What a difference Dak would have made at LSU over the last 4 years!
Narcisse is about 30lbs lighter than Prescott and from what I've seen, Narcisse is faster.

Prescott was 255 as a junior/senior in highschool? Narcisse is listed at 225 not sure how accurate that is but I doubt Prescott was much heavier at the time.

Never going to complain about adding a talent like this to the roster, but I'm not in love with the fit for what Les and LSU traditionally want to do with the offense. I've always thought we've looked our best with guys like Mett, Russell, Lee, etc running the show. Guess we'll see
I wanted Narcisse to be our QB for '17, but he's a player who would excel in an offense like AU's (hopefully, D. Craig will help us there). Miles and Cameron won't get the most out of him if they don't put him in a more open offense. If they're going to recruit him, they'll need to adapt to his strengths when he gets here.

he has good arm strength. What you see on tape is mainly a function of the offense. They roll him to his right a lot for some reason, and on top of that they dont run many routes that let him show off his arm. He throws a lot of lob and jump balls.
but i watched some videos the other day when he committed, and on occasion you can see him throw with a lot of zip, esp on plays when he rolls left.
That's good to know.

Narcisse is listed as 6'2" 195lbs on 247, 226lbs on ESPN, 205lbs on Rivals, 224lbs on Scout. So basically, who knows. I was basing my comment on 247, the highlights I saw of him he didn't look 225 but he also could've put on weight during the off season. Just eyeballing, the 205 might be the most accurate.

Why did Narcisse commit then decommit from Auburn?

Some people have no clue what they're talking about when complaining about us getting dual threat quarterbacks.
Either a guy can throw or he can't. You just have to complete the passes you have and run if you feel you can keep the chains moving or take it to the house. That's dual threat.
PP is a pocket passing who will throw the ball away when pressure and rarely picks up rushing yards.
Then there is the Dual Threat QB who so many assume that none of them can pass. Dual threat is just a quarterback who can run and make plays with his legs.

His film really does remind me of Michael Vick.

Do you have any idea how good Antwaan Randle El was?

yes, im familiar with him. He was a great athlete but a terrible passer. Good runner.
He was not a terrible passer. He was the first player in NCAA history to throw for 40 touchdowns and rush for 40 touchdowns. He also had a cannon.

No, the 224 or 225 is the most accurate weight. When it comes to measurables ESPN is the most accurate because they use the camp numbers, they update the numbers they get from the Nike Opening regionals these kids go to.

I did not realize how big Narcisse is. That is a big man. I hope he has the mobility of a Cam Newton. If he does then he will be scary.

Mobility is not an issue. I am curious to see how our staff plans to transition him into our offense.
