Rashada or Collins are odds on favorites to me

But if Manning would pick Alabama I think we would get Holstein

Moore ends up at Michigan or ND

I was going to say the same thing. Once Arch chooses a school, the dominos will start falling. If I had to randomly pick today:
Moore- Notre Dame
Arch- UGA or Texas
Holstein- Bama
Rashada- Oregon
Collins- I think he winds up in the SEC, maybe Arky (or LSU)

ETA: let’s try this again. It’s coming down to Moore, Rashada, or Collins

I believe Rashada is the first to commit (June 18). If he chooses LSU, a whole bunch of dominos will fall.

Moore to ND, Holstein to Bama (before arch), Arch to UT/UGA.

I've got an odd feeling that Rashada is our guy in this class.

I don't know the depth of other schools, but next season could be Daniels Sr., Nuss Soph. & Walker RF. Will that scare some off or are they confident enough to compete here? ... I don't think Rashada comes. Moore stays in the Midwest. Arch goes to Tex, Ga or Bama, that leaves Holstein & Collins. Personally I'm hoping for Eli Holstein. But it's a long time to signing day and everyone will be watching how our offense and team at large competes.

Apparently BK told rashada he has a green light to commit.. meaning theyre not holding out for other QB recruits

With Walker Howard on the roster and likely redshirting, I doubt any high major QB recruit is going to consider us. However, you still shoot your shot. I imagine most of the big guns are going to use a wait and see approach with Brian Kelly's offense. I'd take Collins for depth.

Do you think every school that has 5*s on the roster has this mentality when recruiting QB’s. No.

Bama, tOSU, Clemson, No.

You keep recruiting the best of the best and whoever wins the job, wins the job. You never recruit down to please a future kid, because there is no guarantee he will go to your school.

Want Moore the most. This kid will be money wherever he goes. Collins is my 2nd pick and I can legit see him sitting the next 2 years behind somebody no problem.

Don't think we have a legit chance with Rashada but would love to have him too.

Hope Kelly can still put forth the kind of offense that would push kids to come here. Ohio St pulled in C.J. Stroud the #3 overall QB and the very next year they pull 5 star Ewers (which was obviously a money play by the Ewers clan), and 5 star McCord.

I'd be over the top excited if Arch surprised everyone and signed with Brian Kelly's
LSU Tigers!!
Anyone thinking he will be a bust is a joke. This dude will be a great college QB and I'd bet he'll be a great NFL QB too!
I bleed Purple and Gold and understand the pessimism in his recruitment, but don't believe for one second that the vast majority of LSU fans wouldn't welcome Arch with open arms!

They’ll still recruit Arch hard, but it’s probably not in the cards. They won’t say it publicly, but having Walker Howard just one class ahead of Arch and Holstein is a deterrent for them signing here. Other schools have loaded depth charts too, but they aren’t filled with players they are familiar with from Louisiana. Take Howard away, one of them signs with LSU.

I don’t really understand this. Walker Howard is a great QB prospect but I’m not sure why he would be any scarier than other 5 star QBs. Nobody who is scared of competition is looking at elite schools anyway.

Moore probably is not leaving the Midwest.
Holstein committed to Bama.
Rashada seems to be in play. Would be a huge get.
Collins seems to be the safest bet and most likely. From my understanding the staff is at Woodlawn everyday to see him and Jordan Mathews.

With that being said I would love for Rashada to come to LSU, but I would be hyped if we were able to keep Collins in state. We need to capitalize on this wealth of in state QB talent we have not had in the past decade. Walker and if you want to count Nuss were a great start, but if we can add Collins to that list LSU can start to solidify an instate QB pipeline. I know this may not seem important to some people but with the everything going on with the transfer portal we have to have homegrown talent that have ties to the state to hopefully keep them here when they don't get to start day one.

Personally, I just don't see it. If that kid wasn't part of the Manning clan, he wouldn't even be a 5 star.

And I think all the LSU fans dying over getting him are legit only doing that because he is a Manning.

I think Collins stock is rising fast too. I said yesterday he would be an SEC guy by the time he signs. With Holstein and Manning likely out of the picture, it looks to be a three horse race between Moore, Rashada, and Collins for LSU.
