If you had to choose just 1 to look at or have access to, which one would it be? and Why?
If you had to choose just 1 to never look at or have referenced, which one would it be and Why?
TIA. I'd like to see if there is a clear cut favorite. Its almost as if I asked you which cable service is the best... I have a feeling the savvy guys on here would say "Uverse"

247 is the best at this point and it's not even close. The interest gauge alone makes it worth it. I just resubscribed to it because there has been some fantastic 2014 content.
Rivals has good rankings, but their content is not so great anymore. They are the former industry leader on the decline Scout is all around mediocre. ESPN is a joke. ESPN does horrible evaluations. They come up with an arbitrary ranking and then don't change it when evidence suggests they should.

247 for LSU content
Rivals is still better nationally, but 247 isn't far behind

Scout is the "Best" because its the least bias
Rivals is the worst because its probable the most glitchy site I have ever been to. Impossible to navigate

Same order as TheWalrus and for a lot of the same reasons.
247 (the best LSU coverage, great national content and rankings)
Rivals (great national content & ratings)
Scout (some good national content & Coppage does a good job covering high school footbal)
ESPN (best platform but the worst info, especially the ratings)
I like 247 best. Rivals still has some good content and the best search engine in the industry. Scout has some good writers but doesn't cover a lot of states as well as they should. Nobody would look at ESPN if they weren't ESPN (on television). It's a shame people have to listen to ESPN's analysts during all of ESPNU's high school game and combine broadcasts. It just sucks that they have the best reach of any recruiting service when their info is so bad.
Scout has formed a relationship with Fox and 247Sports has something going on with CBS Sports. I hope those partnerships will result in more recruiting and high school coverage on those network's sports entities.

If you only want to pay for 1 recruiting site, definitely get 247sports. They have the best team site and their rankings are pretty good. Plus, they offer a composite ranking that other sites do not have. Every once in awhile, one or two of the rankings decision-makers will make forum appearances to explain their reasoning on why certain players are ranked where they are.
Don't waste your money on ESPN for just their recruiting info. ESPN recruiting is just an added bonus for their ESPN insider package. They have the worst rankings and team information out of all sites. Chris Low is the only redeeming factor for ESPN recruiting but he covers all SEC schools.

Count me as another 247 fan. Sonny and Shea are excellent and steadily providing new content to read.

Agree completely, 247 is by far the best. Almost to a fault Sonny and Shea take the mystery out of recruiting. They are spot on. A game every day.
Scout would be worst, just because i like to laugh at ESPN every now and then.

247 is head and shoulders above any of the other sites at least as far as LSU info (which is all I'm really concerned about). Sonny and Shea are always posting things about recruits whether its a guy we are going after hard or a guy that just popped up on the radar. There is always new content. Plus when members ask questions, they are almost always really quick to reply and you can be sure that if they don't know, they will find out.
BBI is alright. I like Ponamsky despite what others might say about him. I think where they fall short is that there is really only the one main guy instead of two and there seems to be a lot more active members on 247 than BBI.
ESPN...yeah, what everyone else said.
