Vol you alluded that many are following,
Any feedback?

Even w/o Vol's post, i would've said to myself

Dumervil isn’t gonna announce until December at the earliest

Evans will announce whenever he wants no exact date

Webb said he will commit when he feels comfortable so late this month or early December is my guess

Burch will probably announce on ESD or around it

These are really our 4 main targets left

The guys who are in will announce when they want to but there's not much to worry about with the big 3 probably right now.

How can anyone commit today? LSU is already at 25. LSU has to tell a few current commits that LSU has decided to go in a different direction before they can take any new recruits.

The 25 number is only how many you can sign. You can have as many commitments as you want although I think many will agree that it's in poor taste.

It’s not in poor taste. Many, many players, commit, then change their mind and commit elsewhere.
There are conversations with the less talented athletes about possibilities of grey shirt, other recruits committing, nsd surprises. These conversations aren’t out of the blue.
What is worse? Transferral portal by a player who signed or telling a kid “you need to look at another school where you will play more,” before they sign?

Poor taste, I don't think so. You don't recruit only 25 players and say we're done. 1 or 2 could flip, a few with grade issues, etc. Surtain comes to mind.

Agree being poor taste and we have been critical of BAMA for years when they process a recruit.

They have also been winning championships in the process.

At the end of the day winning in college football is all about getting the elite talented players on the roster. Nick Saban has won these championships due to bringing talented players and depth to his teams. Saban has also signed players and depth at the line of scrimmage both offense and defense.

LSU has no control over how many commit. Commitments are non binding on either party. There may be marginal academic commitments or a few they believe might flip so thy just let the commitments roll in and then sort out the keepers at the end.
