He was the OC for all but the first and last title. He's legit and I'd put him over all in the area except McCarty. Sanders is just a S&C coach. Spat is good, but Stone knows the ins and outs of WM and that makes a big difference. That being said I don't know if he even wants to coach anymore. He left 5 years ago or so.

From what I heard, Stone was pretty upset with Shows after the 2008 loss in the SuperDome.
A lot remains to be seen.
Just taking a wild guess. I think Coach Arledge has a 'farewell' season and steps down as HC and Mrs May hires Stone back as HC after the 2014 season.
