Are there any high profile TD's in LA next year?

Looking like we may need a big WR

balance....with emphasis on the trenches, dbacks and we're always in the market for a dual threat qb.

Fullback, TE, long and athletic WR

Big WR, DT, center, TE and athletes.

Is TE a spot we are "focusing" on next year? I've only seen Desean Smith and the guy from Karr mentioned. Not to mention that we got Gordon and Thomas this year.
Also, don't we have Corey White/E Porter/T Turner probably playing center for a while? Why would center be a point of emphasis if that's the case.
I think it'll be DT, a Big WR, a QB and secondary players.

Some coaches like to stockpile TE's on their roster because TE's tend to be versatile players. Sometimes they become good TE's, but sometimes they grow into good offensive lineman or good defensive lineman. Marcus Spears was a highly-rated tight end recruit and he ended up being an All-American DE at LSU and then a DT with the Cowboys. Also, that good offensive tackle that plays for the 49ers used to be a tight end at the beginning of his college career.

The entire Dline will be the biggest priority. We probably will have the chance four guys leave as Juniors. Montgomery is for sure gone after next year.

1. DT, WR (Ricky Seals-Jones, is our #1), QB (If we don't Kiel or Alford)
2. DE, S (if we don't get Collins),
TE is definitely not a priority. Mies isn't known for stock piling TEs either. But DeSean Smith is too good to pass up.
Going to be going out of state a lot. Weak LA year.

This could very well be the case but people say this way too early. From an LA perspective, guys always come out of the woodworks that we never saw coming so it's a bit premature at this point.

I don't think it's going to be a weak year in state at all. Especially at skill positions.
John Diarse, Rickey Jefferson, and Ronald Lewis can all play on either side of the ball, and play just about anywhere in the country. Standish Dobard and DeSean Smith are big, athletic TEs. The Falkins kid at Carver may get an early offer. The two Livingston Parish RBs are very good, although Blanchard seems to be more LSU's style. Guys like Kendall Beckwith and Darrian Claiborne are going to be really good front seven defensive guys that are playing QB for their teams, like the guy from Washington Marion is.
Overall, it may be another pretty deep class.

DT is a major priority next year and Isaiah Golden out of Elysian Fields, TX is definitely one to watch. Word is that he and his father are big-time LSU fans. I'm not sure about any other DT's that are interested in LSU heavily at this point, but I'm sure there are some.
