Maybe in the 90's that argument would stand, but not today.

How does LSU's recognition have anything to do with Miami owning Baton Rouge as a place to spend 4-5 years of your college life?

That's your opinion. In my opinion it would be miserable to live in Miami. You can't even order a hamburger in Miami with out knowing Spanish.

So you've been to Miami and gone to all of their establishments or you just heard that from someone? I've been to Miami 17-18 times, not sure of the total amount. I've got family in Boca Raton. What you just said is completely false.

I think he was referring to the city itself, not the team.

Yea, I know it's been nutz. Talked to your dad the other day trying to get an update...lol Not much luck.
Bastrop, as a community is proud of Rueben and are ready for him to be a Tiger. My 8 year old son is making signs to take to the BHS games. Ready for that first Home game vs. Richwood. You gonna be able to make it down for any games this year? The Evangel game would be a good one.

Get serious, all you have to learn to say is:

yeah kinda hard to say which game right now, was coming this weekend but with the hurricane there gonna be kinda hard so i canceled this trip, at least its on tv.

i am just glad that someone else here understands i have no bearing on where my brother goes to school.

never had any trouble on this board though.

yeah my dad is kinda quiet on info cause things can change from day to day. thats why he keeps telling rueben when you decide thats it

thats a good outlook, rueben is a hell of a player with a good family base. its important to support him in HIS decision. some people are delusional with their school and dont realize this is the biggest decision this far in his life and he is struggling quite a bit with it most likely. that said though i hope he calls coach miles with some good news soon becasue he is a louisiana guy and a great player who has his head on straight and can be an amazing asset to whatever team he chooses and hopefully it LSU. how ya been by the way mitch?

man i been good how about yourself? yeah he knows we support him and its actually taken a big load off of him knowing this.

of course i am sure you guys know that you are one of the final schools. and as it was stated earlier usc is coming on strong in their efforts.

i saw someone say they were told bama was out of it, that must of just happened yesterday because sunday night they were still in it.

so maybe that just happened at school yesterday

early playing time is always nice but he would get that anywhere, i assume USC is a bit too far from his family but im talking out of my arse here

that's just complete bullshite...also to a 18-19 year old recruit the scores and scores of hot women might also be a bit appealing

DMitch, If you had a preference, besides the U, where would you like to see Rueben end up?

Let me know if you are going to make it to a BHS game, we can chug some beer.

i would like to see him at lsu, maybe i am looking at it from the standpoint of the parents being able to see him though.

i know they dont mind traveling but with aaron at grambling and wanting to see him play too it would get tough trying to go so much
