I agree. Hoping for Serah, be nice to 6’5 and 6’5 on the front line.

SURELY we can sell that young lady on the fact that she is the natural successor to Angel Reese and Aneesah Morrow.
“Look Serah, Angel and Aneesah were the best power forwards in the portal. They both chose LSU and both not only became superstars and national celebrities, they both made themselves a shite ton of money. YOU are number three. There’s no other place in the country that can offer you near the potential fame and fortune as LSU!”
If we miss her … wow. We’ll have to hope Grace Knox rapidly develops into a star. And face it, like the Rant usually does, we’re anointing Joyner as the second coming of Karl Malone when I don’t read any list that has her among the top bigs in the portal.
I’m glad for Fulwiley, Koval, and the freshmen, but if our standard is a NC in 2026, there will be a huge hole in the roster if we don’t land Serah Williams.

That would leave you dangerously thin in the front court. One injury takes you from little front court depth to none.

Disagree, you can't go into a season with just three post players.

They’ll add someone. There is no way they go into next season with only 3 bigs on the roster. You’re an injury away from not having any backups and every team deals with foul trouble at some point

It would have been great if Samyah stayed. 357, have you heard anything why she left? It doesn't make sense, she would have been a starter. She knows our system and won a natty during her freshman year. She benefited from playing with Angel and Nees. I'm sorry, but just can't see her thriving at UVA. They're not highly talented team, coaching not top notch, and may never get to Ncaa tournament. Last time was 2018 and didn't make it past Round 1. Maybe she wants to hide and have quiet life in Charlottesville?

It's crazy that she may've ended up at the worst program of the all the transfers.

Where did Amani Barrett transfer… if you can imagine such? That may answer many questions

No idea. She’s played 4 years. Isn’t the NCAA looking into granting a flat 5 years with no redshirts?
Posted on 4/29/25 at 5:54 pm to HighRoller
Pretty sure she was under the games limit her freshman year so she can probably get a redshirt for that year

Smith’s father was apparently shopping for $$$’s, but UVA holy hell, they are terrible

I stand corrected everyone. I cant lie, I didnt really look at the roster that closely, but was thinking in terms of saving NIL money for the future. 357 whats your gut feeling on Serah If you dont mind sharing?

What is the limit? I thought if you played any it counted.
Posted on 4/29/25 at 7:32 pm to HighRoller
I thought it was like less than 1/3rd but maybe not. There's barely rules anymore so they probably wouldn't notice either way.
