He has had enough damn time. It hurts the program if they hold a spot for him when someone else could have came here. Just make a decision and stop stringing programs along.

Attacks a player for leaving LSU after a year

Attacks a player for doing thorough research into his decision

LSU literally hired a new offensive coordinator within the last 3 weeks. You don’t think that is a big deal?

Do you really believe he still can't decide because of the OC that was hired a couple of weeks ago?

Seems to me he wants LSU and dad wants elsewhere. By all accounts he’s a good kid

Your post should have read ,"dad wants $$$$$$$". Kid wants to play football.

Who the hell knows?

Maybe he had his mind made up to not go to LSU, and the OC hire shifted things back in LSUs favor

I mean, I get that there are several possibilities, but I think it certainly looks like there is more involved than just the usual can't decide where he wants to go sort to of thing.

Takes his time? He's been recruited for several years as a D1 prospect. So while 99% of the D1 prospects sign on NSD, most of which sign in the early signing period, he still needs time to figure it out? I say BS. While he may not blow up social media, he clearly enjoys the attention and clearly enjoys being chased. For the first time in his life he's holding all the cards, and he's loving every minute of it. So while you may rationalize this, this behavior clearly says something about the young man. Furthermore why would this riff between his family magically disappear "after" signing day? Nope he's loving it and wants a signing day all to himself.

Totally agree- this is just like those kids where they start out tweets about a Top 15, then a Top 10 schools, whatever. They get the attention they crave. If you have seen the schools, you know which one you like more, unless the issue is PT. If he doesn't sign by tomorrow, the coaches at different schools are going to start getting pissed and walk away. Remember all the hoopla about that Northshore running back a couple of years ago...

Lol what program is he hurting. All 3 of the schools can pass or give his spot to another 4*.
WRs grow on trees. LSU wont be hurting if he signed somewhere else.

The dates of the signing days aren't some mystery shrouded in secrecy and the kid has had offers from many schools for at least, if not over a year. At some point you have to make a decision. What is going to tip the scales one way or the other by waiting another 2, 3, 14 days? You've know the choices for over 300+ days.

Yeah at some point he will. He has no obligation to sign by “signing day” which is pretty much just for media attention. He has every right to take ALL the time available for him. Like damn there’s a reason they have more time past today. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that

No one is saying he doesn't.

They're just pointing out the absurdity of "needing more time to make a decision" when he's had offers from the likes of LSU, A&M, Alabama, etc. since 2018. What information can be gathered in days following today that he couldn't gather about the various schools for over the 2-3 years they've been recruiting him? If he is still "torn" after 2 years of recruiting what is going to all of a sudden change tomorrow or a week from now? The offers today are the same as they were yesterday, will be tomorrow, and were 6 months ago.

He also has the right to devote his life to mastering Japanese origami . Of course we aren’t talking about rights, we are talking about two parties making decisions that are in their own self interest. Both should do that. IMHO, it is in LSU’s self interest to field the best possible roster for 2021, a critical season. The longer he waffles, the more likely he is to force the LSU staff to have that conversation and move on.Particularly with 5 star linebackers and so forth in the transfer portal.

Do you think BTJ and his dad are enjoying keeping fans of LSU and A&M in suspense?

It is a huge decision. F a kid needs time so be it. Rather that than back and forth.

From what I can tell, A&M has left open their last spot for BTJ, so I expect he will end up signing with them...
Just frees up another portal spot for us, if the right athlete is there to fill a need...

I have always wanted BT to be a Tiger and really thought he would have signed by now.
But if he can’t make up his mind by now, we need to make it for him and pull his offer!!
This is a joke. If he really wanted in, it would have happened by now. And you know what his father can do!!!
