Its a recruiting pitch jackass. Are you being intentionally obtuse?

I'm only responding to what you wrote. But since I'm being obtuse, it looks like Miles made a few bad decisions during the last month and the repercussions are now showing.

But you're probably be a square and say nothing is wrong and Miles is the best thing since sliced bread.

Lee Adam was saying when recruiting against LSU Fisher could say "Hey kid I worked under Miles and he is a dumb arse" pure hypothetical

the game on the 9th was terrible. That still doesnt change the fact that Jimbo is having as much success at Florida State as Les Miles had at Oklahoma State. Im sure you can see the problem with that situation especially with the situations they each walked into. Jimbo trying to sell FSU over LSU because hes "smarter/a better coach than Les" is asinine

Pretty good for a 1st time HC.

Jimbo did that with 3* QB Christian Ponder.

Jimbo has plenty of ammunition.

What hell has Jimbo Fisher done as a head coach? Grant it's only been two years, but Miles winning % is far higher, in tougher conferences to boot.

I forgot in what draft was Christian Ponder a top 5 pick? Jimbo did a good job with Ponder the guy is a great qb coach and OC...Ive been unimpressed so far with his job as a HC. In fact he had a clock gaffe that was Ole Miss Miles level vs UVA this year maybe worse.

"Success" at Oklahoma State and Florida State are measured by different standards.

I know which is why its kind of shocking that the "dumber" Les Miles had similar success record wise, won more big games, and went to more prestigious bowls at Okie state by his 3rd year there than Jimbo has at FSU.

My bad, I misinterpreted your post as a dig on Miles vs. Fisher, rather than vice versa. Guess I should have read the whole thing instead of pulling that quote out of context.

No offense, but Florida is a cooler state than Louisiana.

Agreed, many states are. However, Tallahassee sucks.

Well how about we let Jimbo 3rd season play out before all the comparisons?

What draft it was, wasn't the point.

Jimbo has always been a very good recruiter and Florida State should always be a easy place to recruit. Not surprised at all how well he has done.

Wasn't Ponder like 35 when he got to FSU. I know I'm exaggerating about his age.Didn't he come in after his Baseball career ended?

Ponder wasn't top 5 draft pick and tbh that single pick was the biggest "WTF?" moment of the NFL draft.
