he already has a monster class and is still likely to sign three or four more top rated recruits. I believe he had a monster class last year as well.

Is Jimbo that much better at recruiting than Miles?

yes

i mean....they were preseason Top 5 and look what they acco........oh wait.

FSU is a good program that offers nice facilities and the chance to bring back a program.

What does it have to do with Miles?? Has he NOT gotten some rather good players from the state of Alabama?

Jimbo has plenty of ammunition.

I think the state of Florida recruits alot for him. Let's be honest, 1 hour from New Orleans or 1-2 hours from 7 different beaches.

It doesn't matter tho, as I have said in other posts, all you need is a solid group of 4* players and a 5* here and there and you will remain elite. LSU had 2 5* prospects starting this year (RS and RR2). Everyone else on defense, offense, and st were 4* or lower.

Both are great recruiters.

Jimbo was always a great recruiter at LSU and is just focusing on that at FSU.

Fisher has always been a good recruiter.

HOWEVER . . .

Florida has TONS of talent.

The three schools tend to rotate as the beneficiary of that talent.

Right now, Miami is down and Florida is not flying through its transition.

Beneficiary: FSU.

It helps that Florida and Miami are down right now. Plus Jimbo and Craig both have Alabama ties. Now we just got to continue to develop this talent and we will be fine.

FSU has better recruiters than LSU.

Simple as that.

No offense, but Florida is a cooler state than Louisiana.

OR-Jimbo took top 5 talent and a top 5 ranking and drove it into an 8-4 season in the ACC. I took a team and went undefeated (in the regular season) in the toughest conference. On that team I took a 3 star and a kid with a bunch of sunbelt offers and made one of them a top 5 draft pick and the other a heisman finalist. If I did that with them where do you think you will end up...

someone reported a fews ago that he had a beer with Jimbo and said he said that about Miles.

Butt hurt comment frankly...

Miles is 85-17..after Next Season Miles will be closing in on 100 wins in 8 seasons!

Jimbo doesn't appear to be on the same path of success in a much easier conference...so maybe he is the joke?

So Miles did this or their position coaches?

Its a recruiting pitch jackass. Are you being intentionally obtuse?

Although I typically do not put a ton of stock into stars and recruiting rankings, I do generally place a lot of weight on the number of top 100-150 recruits a program picks up in a class. I must say that it is very weird looking down the list of rivals 100 and not seeing LSU on there. Even more bizzare is that pretty much none of the recruits left in the 100 that have not yet verbally committed have LSU listed as an interest. This is just too wierd in my opinion. Given the success that this program has had in recruiting and on the field over the past decade, I just feel that there have to be some surprises on the way over the next week or so.

No he hasn't. He did very little recruiting at LSU. That's a fact.

It seems like the flood gates opened at FSU recently. I wouldn't be surprised if 2-3 guys jump ship soon now that it is getting crowded. Hopefully, somebody from LSU's staff is keeping the lines open with a few of thoses kids.
