We’re really gonna lose Ju’Juan Johnson, the top 24’ ATH in LA to Colorado…

Crystal balls from every top recruiting analyst across sites sure think so. I can’t imagine the recruitment is anywhere near done but really wanted a commitment from Johnson this weekend.

Let him commit if he wants but if they don’t win more than 2 games this year. Everyone will be recommitting

he projects at DB
what top DB would not want the GOAT DB coaching him up for the NFL one day
Colorado pulled a lot of kids out of New Orleans back in the day
Sanders is gonna pull recruits out of areas no one thinks he can

Every program is going to take a turn. It is what it is.

People need to stop saying this stupid shite. Everyone knows it's a total rebuild of a program. They not projected to do shite this year. CU brought in over 40 new players. Them winning max of 4 games want hurt them. Even if they win 2 games players see the chance to play now along with exposure from Deion. Regardless JuJu is only committing he isn't signing NLI that can change in next 10 months.

Gonna be a dumpster fire over there once all the smoke and magic wears off.
We may see him back in LA as a transfer, ho knows?

Wasn't Patrick Ewing great, horrible coach and no great center has he produced .

He spurns LSU his loss, not BK's.

Brian Kelly is a great coach. Great coaches don't beg recruits.

Like Bech was called the great white hope,Deon is the great black hope.

He's drinking the koolaid and being paid to do so.

This is not a well thought out decision by the Johnson family. I could almost guarantee you it's not money. CU isn't outpaying top programs.

There was an ESPN special a while back about former Colorado Coach Bill McCartney. He said if he ever got a recruit on campus, it was over. He said, “Who sees the mountains in Boulder and says, ‘I want to go to Lincoln, Nebraska or Norman, Oklahoma?’
Colorado under Coach Prime is a sleeping giant.

This is the right take.
We're 10 months from the next ESD. These "commitments" are nice but are just handshake agreements until the kid puts pen to paper (do they still wet sign LOI's?).
And even if he signs somewhere else, we won't have an issue filling up the class with quality DBs.

Get him in the portal in year 2.

No.
That athletic department gets very little support and they have no local talent to fill gaps in recruiting or fall back on.
A sleeping giant is LSU pre-Saban, not Colorado pre-Deion. Prime will get done big names there but won’t be a great program manager and certainly won’t have Colorado as a giant.
