You need an accurate arm anywhere in the infield. You need a STRONG arm to play 3rd. You need to go ahead and sit the rest of this thread out. You’re embarrassing yourself.
Carl, you are the last person who should be telling someone they are embarrassing themselves.
And did I say you didn't need an accurate arm everywhere? No, and you obviously aren't bothering to read what I actually said. If I didn't think Kurland had a strong enough arm to play third, I wouldn't have suggested it. Park has the stronger arm, but I don't see where Kurland couldn't handle the position. I'll say it for the 100th time, it's about wanting more range up the middle. It's not a complicated concept. I recently explained a concept to you that you insisted wasn't realistic, and how did that work out for you? Do you remember that conversation?
I can also see where Park ends up at third. You can make either case. I don't have a problem with either, but I know what I'd like to see.

Range is an important factor at 3rd base as well. Why do you think many college 3rd basemen turn into 1st basemen in the pros? It's usually not a deficiency with the arm - it's foot speed and fluidity as a defender.

Range relative to that position is important, but you don't expect a third baseman to have the range of a shortstop. Guys who move from third to first base either are terrible at making accurate throws, or they are just not very good athletes.
I don't think we have to worry about whoever ends up at third having any of those problems. That's what matters most in this situation.
