I wonder what poster he is on the sight.

My bad if I took your post the wrong way. Just seems like a lot of people in this thread have been in full melt mode for the past month.

We’re actually going to have a bench this year!

If you look at all my posts in this thread I was never melting

Wilson is LSUs starting PG and a true lock down defender. Adding that was major
Posted on 4/24/24 at 5:14 pm to Tigerbait357
Gilbert will be the starting pg imo
Posted on 4/24/24 at 5:14 pm to Tigerbait357
what's the rotation looking like?
Posted on 4/24/24 at 5:17 pm to Tigerbait357
What I like about these three is speed and athleticism. I see this team being faster than last year.

We need guards that are better at stopping penetration to the basket. That was a major weakness last season.

That was because HVL was not quick and Williams is still trying to get into shape. Adding these 3 and a full offseason conditioning for Williams is gonna make a dramatic difference
That was an excellent haul of guards, now we just need to add another big

So I am glad we have got the guard depth but we need a rotational post that can spell Morrow and Smith. Del is improved and will help next year but we need an experienced post player in case Smith or Morrow get injured god for bid or get into foul trouble.

I guess Wilson will be the starting PG. Not the name I was hoping to hear, but gotta be better than HVL as a disher and driver.
Team should be better top to bottom. It’s obvious now Velez and Kent were processed. I hope Gilbert is not a cancer.
I was hoping to hear we got a legit kickass post player, but I’m realistic. That probably isn’t happening at this stage of the game. So let’s just grab a serviceable big who can give you 5-10 non-awful minutes and along with ADR, serve as backups to Smith and Morrow.
We roll with that, we might not be a lockdown Final Four team, but we would have a decent chance to get there.

Gilbert isn’t a PG at all… but I’m sure she will play at times with both Williams and Flaujae at the same time

Very nice pickups for Kim! Depth just got better tremendously

Dont know anything about these guards. But if I had to take a guess they are very athletic and defense oriented.

Same. I'm super happy with this depth but im also hoping this isn't it and we see at least one more big come in. The last two years with zero depth had to have been frustrating.

i think jersey could be used as a forward, with this group. she was used as both guard/forward at arkansas.
and i think they could add another big.
some of our players need to call their old high school teammates, who are in the portal...lol...
