Dude seems solid as a rock to AU. Should we be spending our time with somone that actually wants to come here? Makes me wanna puke.

Trovon Reed will visit Auburn over the weekend
Four-star wide receiver Trovon Reed says a planned official visit to LSU will have no impact on his commitment to Auburn. His decision, he says, is made and will not be changed.
“They are cool, but I tell them they have to respect my decision,” Reed said. “I am solid to Auburn."
Reed, from Thibodaux (La.) High School, will take his official visit to Auburn over the coming weekend and LSU a week later. He acknowledges he has felt increasing pressure in his home state. But he says he's not wavering on the commitment he made in November.
Reed said he wants his decision to be accepted and respected.
“You don't see the people in the state of Alabama making a big deal when guys go to LSU,” he said.
Reed said he looks forward to spending the weekend visiting Auburn's coaches and his future teammates.
“I am ready to have some fun,” he said. “I just want to hang out with the other commitments and recruits that will be there and hang out with the players.”
Reed played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio last Saturday. He said he did his best to recruit defensive tackle Jeffrey Whitaker and running back Marcus Lattimiore. Whitaker alos be in Auburn for an official visit over the weekend.
“I was just telling them how great it is at Auburn,” Reed said. “Before this year, I never would have thought I would commit to Auburn. But they have a great coaching staff there, great facilities, great campus, great everything, and I have just made it my home.”
Reed has made numerous trips to Auburn. He said he felt like a member of the family every time.
“I am just telling these guys that you just don't know what Auburn is like until you have spent some quality time with the coaches,” Reed said. “I did that, and I am happy now.”
Reed said the Auburn coaching staff has not only given him a sense of family, they have given him inspiration, especially head coach Gene Chizik, offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and wide receivers coach Trooper Taylor.
“I love those guys,” Reed said. “My relationship is very strong with all the coaches, especially Coach Chizik, Coach Malzahn and Coach Troop. I look up to those guys. I want to be a coach someday, and I just hope I can be like them.”

Im glad we're giving it a shot tbh. I would be upset if our staff didn't pursue guys of this caliber. It does sound like he's getting aggravated by LSU staff but I consider that a good thing not a bad thing. It means our staff is working hard.

We are not wasting our time with him.He probably will not come here but the coaches have to try.He had some nice comments about Auburn but we don't know what question was asked to get thos comments.I for one wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't make his visit to LSU.Personally I don't really care to be honest. If he wants in fine ,if not then that's fine also.To me we already have the wr from LA that we want and that's Landry.

Yes.

no way are they wasting their time. Reed is a very good ath and even if he ends up signing with AU, it shows all the high school coaches and players that LSU is not gonna give up on an in-state kid.

I say quit wasting time on him and start spending more on Wright and others!

I honestly feel bad for Reed. He's obviously being fed some major Kool-Aid by the Auburn staff.

Almost seems like they are messing with his emotions.
WILSON is on the job though!
