In an interview with Steve Wiltfong, Walter revealed that he will take official visits to LSU, UGA, Michigan, and Ohio State and also spoke very highly of Bama and Tennessee. I take this as a good thing for us and I could not find the interview sadly.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like there’s a solid chance for LSU to land him.

OSU insiders say 0% chance he ends up at OSU. I would bet he never takes a visit to Columbus.

In the VIP article witfong mentioned that no other team is recruiting him harder than LSU. Walter and Ed O talk just about everyday!!

Memphis area is a melting pot of SEC fandoms and LSU is pretty well represented.

He goes to the same high school as my kids did. But he recently transferred in to get that strong Catholic education.

I wish I had inside info, but don't.

His previous high school was where Jalen Collins and Jevon Snead went. Hopefully him and Snead are good friends.

Recruiting has made me so fricking cynical.

I see this and think- well that’s good news.

I also think- tired of hearing this bullshite from OOS kids

We recruited extremely well in 2020 for a team that had the season LSU did. This season should be one with us back in contention for the CFB playoffs. We know that, coaches know that, recruits know that. Put together a strong season and get back to that 'elite' status and I dont see any reason why top notch talent like Nolen and others wont come to LSU. 2022 has been talked about being one of the best classes ever for months and with guys like Nolan, Shemar, and Enai (3 of the top 7 overall recruits in 2022) all being so high on LSU, you can see why it COULD be the best ever. Imo, win and they're in! GEAUX TIGERS!

I really like our chances with Nolen.

From what I've read, 'O' has been developing his relationship w/ Nolen for somewhere in the neighborhood of two (2) years (and it seems to be paying off b/c Nolen always speaks favorably about LSU &/or 'O' anytime he's asked in an interview).

Would be awesome to follow Maason Smith in 2021 with Walter Nolen in 2022, and I like our chances of making it happen!!
