pios picked him off once but he looked good other than that. Lots of quick screens/slants not many balls that made you say wow but when he did make them it was really impressive

Probably his best receiver is in LHSAA limbo, after transferring from ND, who are crying bitches and won't release him.(Half of NDs players are from surrounding towns, but they are pissed their best wr left for, gulp, another town.)
His family bought a place in Lafayette. On top of that, do you blame them for wanting him to play with the #1 qb in the country?

Beyond that, Walker is phenomenal, but kinda lacks talent at the position of wr. He has to take a bunch off the ball so the wr's can catch quick throws. His incompleteness will go up this year, but not because of accuracy problems.

Domingue, Bech, and Arceneaux, 3 D1 athletes, are gone from the wr corps....thats hard to replace

Walker looked good. But ND has a very good d-line that kept him moving. STM lost their best o-lineman to a knee injury in the first drive which didn’t help.

The other poster that talked about the receivers that he lost from last year was spot on. Guys like that can make any qb look good.

actually the guy you’re talking about isn’t being held by ND, family hasn’t fully moved yet.

also it’s ND of acadia parish not of crowley so they have feeder schools from all over acadia parish. not the same thing as someone from crowley who wants to go to STM

It's located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette.
Many kids from outside acadia go to ND, and wisely so! They have reason to leave Eunice, Jennings, etc

Whatever his reason, the kid and his family have moved on.

I get your point...but there is nothing holding up the completed process besides ND.....this was told to me by someone in position to know details. I don't know the kid....so I hope you're correct. Season starts next week

Who is the player? I was told that he transferred from North Vermilion, and he’s reportedly also a basketball standout.

ND has players from 4-5 different parishes as I’m sure STM does

I believe it’s Christian McNees. (Not 100% on spelling)

What a dumbass take. The kid couldn't cut it. He wanted a spot handed to him instead of freaking earning it like everyone else that goes through that program. If anyone is a crying bitch it's the kid and his family.

Technically it isn’t cheating because they are allowed to have kids from literally anywhere. Like Tyler Shelvin. Was he in Acadia Parish?

1. Notre Dame is the only catholic high school in Acadia parish with the overwhelming majority of its students coming from St Michael Elementary and Rayne Catholic Elementary. In addition to those two schools, students from Church Point, Branch, Duson, Iota, Eunice, Jennings, Gueydan, Indian Bayou and even very rarely Lafayette also attend. I'm sure there are some additional communities I'm missing. Any student attending a Diocese of Lafayette elementary school in 8th grade may attend ANY Diocese of Lafayette high school as be eligible as a freshman. STM, Teurlings, Catholic NI, VC, and Hanson Memorial all have that same "advantage" of having kids from anywhere in that sense.
2. Tyler Shelvin and his family moved to Crowley to attend Notre Dame.
3. Notre Dame has not in any way held up the process. The family has not bought a house in Lafayette. STM self reported to get out in front of the situation because other Lafayette schools made calls to LHSAA. The kid transferred from North Vermillion after his freshman year to Notre Dame and was investigated by LHSAA then and was not cleared until the 2nd or 3rd game of the season.

Just seems strange that it's his 3rd high school in 3 years. Seems to be searching for what they believe to be his ideal situation. Wonder where the next stop will be after there isn't our All American QB throwing to him next year. IF he's even ruled eligible this year.
