I’ve seen rumblings of TCU. So I guess those rumors behind the scenes were true. Interesting. Guess he might’ve seen the writing on the wall with Daniels and Nussmeier, as well as Hurley incoming. Best of luck, dude came to LSU and it seems, now wants a change of scenery, no ill will. Might head out of conference, entirely.

I guess he thinks he can't beat out Nuss? Not really sure where this is coming from by him since he was pretty high on CBK as a coach during his recruitment. Things change quickly in the NIL/Transfer portal age of college football though, I guess.

Sure he’s still high on him (speculation of course) but sometimes it’s just the situation. He sees Hurley, another high end four to five star incoming, along with Nuss emerging some against Georgia and Purdue and Daniels returning. It’s a good problem for LSU to have, a packed QB room, but for Howard, a change of scenery might just be too beneficial to pass up. TCU might be among the most logical of choices, with some nice talent incoming from the transfer portal and solid four stars, he could potentially make waves in Fort Worth.

Until they get a blue chip QB out of the portal. The world is not going to wait on Walker Howard to be ready to play. He would be better off transferring to a smaller school like southern miss or Louisiana Tech if he has no patients for sitting and developing.
