X-ray revealed a broken left fibula ...MRI will be done today to see what soft tissue looks like...he also sprained his rt ankle in 1st half...tuff nite for a great kid ...this is just a bump in the road for a kid that's had a couple of tough bumps in his short life...he's will recover and be ready for what life brings him in no time...just not this football season...

He made it to the lsu game in a walking boot. He told the STM team he’s out 2-3 weeks depending on what mri shows. I heard more like 6 weeks from someone close to him. So we shall see.

If he is out for the season it won’t be because he is “opting out”, or playing it safe.
Unrelated to the injury, but here is a little insight on his character. For freshman and JV games on Wednesdays, he is always on the sidelines supporting them. Often he will chat with the QB after a series. Once in a while 1 or 2 other varsity players will show up, but he is always there.
