Your argument that 90-95% of his info ends up here proves my point and is not a solid defense.

This is exactly his point. It’s a problem that that much premium info makes it here.

It's liked the time he claimed he was an advocate for kids by trying to help them with scholarship. An advocate for kids is someone who helps them work through real issues like abuse, etc., not someone who props himself up while also showcasing an athlete. He just needs to choose his words better.

Yeah--it's unfortunate. There isn't a way to address this without it being some whiny writer acting as if they are the end all be all in journalism. Hell, I've never really considered myself a journalist, but that's neither here nor there.

LOL--I wouldn't say that is 100% accurate. I have a lower tolerance than I should for certain people/issues. It's tough for me to tuck my tail between my legs. I also have a tendency to need the last word. Hell, I feel like I am writing 8 Mile lyrics right now.

The best! I'm also white and have a friend that shot himself in the leg with his own gun. I think we're on to something here.

His name in the movie is Jimmy Smith as well, so....

Awesome stuff, guys. It wasn't my work I was trying to protect here. I just know the grind that can go into things like this and it is disheartening when someone takes that work and blast it out for all to see, often passing it off as their own.

Our info is our property, just like any other line of business. For some reason people get mad if we try to stop people from stealing from the store, which is really odd to me. Where else is it okay to steal someone's product or intellectual property?

Good job crediting Shea, OP.

The issue you have is that a section of an entire generation doesn't understand what intellectual property is so they can't respect it. They think everything in Cyber world is for free and no credit needed. Back in the day there was Napster and the music download sites and now it is put everything out on instagram and twitter and see if it sticks. Just go out and steal an idea, slap a tag on it and say 'sue me' with a middle finger in the air. Sign o' the times.

It would be nice to see a few more offensive linemen. Otherwise, Mama Mia!
