pretty much, you would think... it would almost have to... UGA and LSU, one of them gets Evans, the other gets Johnson... it's almost like a staring contest and neither wants to blink...

Although after looking into this claim, the week 14 S&P+ SOS rankings have UGA #11. They have LSU #1 and aTm #3.

Funny you should say that. Since 2010, UGA is 12-11 vs. SECw teams. LSU is 15-4 vs SECe teams. In that time, the west has won the SECCG 7 times while the east has won once.
I can’t wrap my head around how one could even begin to think the SECe is comparable to the SECw.

We aren’t talking about the start of the 21st century. The subject was Kirby hasn’t done anything impressive at UGA, so the only years being discussed are 2016-2018.

Not sure where you’re seeing LSU number 1 for SoS in 2017 or 2018. Also, of course we’d include SECC since it’s a part of the SEC season.

Kirby is 1-1 against the best team from the SECw in 2017 and 2018. Kirby didn’t make it to the SECC in 2016, so he didn’t play the best team from the west.

I did answer the question. It was what is his record against the best team from the SECw in his career. Bama won the west in 2016 and UGA didn’t play bama. Auburn won the west 2017 and UGA beat them in the SECC. Bama won the west in 2018 and UGA lost to them in the SECC. LSU hasn’t been the top team from the west in Kirby’s tenure at UGA, so if you’d want LSU included you’d have to drop that second part of your post.

Van Pran is all over the map right now, cb’s are being put in for him to Georgia, but yet this dude is like every comment that LSU fans are tagging him in that LSU needs him.... I know I may be looking too far into this bit if I’m a recruit and I know I’m not going to a certain school, I’m not going to still show love to the other school I’m not going to!
