LSU SIGNEES
EAST:
LS – Quentin Skinner (Buford, GA) #53
WEST:
RB – Tyrion Davis (Southern Lab, LA) #22
OL – Kardell Thomas (Southern Lab, LA) #70
OL – Charles Turner (IMG, FL) #78
DL – Siaki Ika (East, UT) #62
LB – Marcel Brooks (Flower Mound, TX) #9
DB – Derek Stingley Jr. (Dunham, LA)
***(Notes: Stingley has already begun practicing with LSU and will not participate in the Bowl game.)***
Couldn’t find a number on Charles Turner
Players to Watch:
EAST:
DL – Byron Young (West Jones, MS) #47
(Alabama Commit)
First Half Notes:
East- 21
West- 0
Tyrion Davis: Touched the ball one time maybe
Kardell Thomas: He’s an impact blocker, leans forward a little bit too much, needs more technique but his raw power is immense.
Charles Turner: Holding up at center pretty well. A lot stronger than his frame indicates. One bad snap. Probably why he’s moving to Tight end and may grow into a tackle.
Marcel Brooks: My gosh as good as advertised. A speed demon that closes in an instant and tackles violently. Made plays in the run and can cover wideouts step for step.
Siaki Ika: Just call him the Great Wall. Ika has not taken a step backwards this whole game and even showed some finesse using a rip move to knife into the backfield for a TFL.
Quentin Skinner: He snaps a mean spiral.

Player Bios:
Tyrion Davis: LSU’s next big running back, Davis is 6-1, 220 pounds, with legit speed in the open field. He possesses tremendous vision and patience to allow blocking schemes to develop and exploit unfilled gaps. When he picks a hole, Davis flashes with good acceleration and the elusiveness to make first contact miss.
Kardell Thomas: The nation’s No. 1 guard prospect, five star Thomas bullies defenders. But strength and power aren’t the only parts of his game. Even with his massive size (6-3, 350) Thomas has elite athleticism and agility, when combined with his brute force on the line of scrimmage projects him as LSU’s next great offensive lineman.
Siaki “Apu” Ika: The best prospect in the state of Utah this year is 6-3, 360-pound Siaki Ika. He is unblockable 1-on-1 against both the run and the pass, but not just because of his size and strength. Ika possesses elite first step quickness and tremendous usage of his hands, allowing him to disengage from blocks almost instantaneously on the snap. At 360 pounds, he can apply a spin move almost as well as he can bull rush.
Marcel Brooks: Brooks has great first-step explosion which he uses get to quarterbacks in a hurry. When he arrives, he delivers big hits. Physically, he is long and lean right now (6-3, 200), but has the perfect frame to add good weight while retaining his elite speed. He is fast enough to be considered as a potential safety prospect, but his strengths on the field are more suited to being a disruptive outside ‘backer.
Derek Stingley Jr: As rare a prospect as they come at the cornerback position, Stingley has great size and leaping ability coupled with excellent athleticism and instincts. He is a special prospect and the prototype for the cornerback position. From Stingley’s work ethic, to his pedigree, to his athleticism and intelligence, the All-American has it all.
Quentin Skinner: Built like a linebacker and powerful on his feet, Skinner’s snaps are quick and crisp. His snap technique is excellent, with smooth and consistent form. He’s the No. 1 long snapper in the nation for a reason. Skinner is the fifth All-American from Buford High School and is the school’s second ever long snapper with the honor.
Note: There was no bio provided for Charles Turner.

Thank you for putting this together.
ETA:
Some other guys that may be worth keeping an eye on because we recruited them or we’ll be playing them in the future:
EAST
QB - Taulia Tagovailoa #12 - Bamas next QB
RB - Trey Sanders #6 - Only RB ranked above Emery. Bama commit
LB - Diwun Black #11 - Florida commit. Long rangy LB.
WEST
QB - Grant Gunnel #16 - This was the kid early that we were extremely high on. Ed said he would bring mike to his signing day if he chose LSU. His stock plummeted after camps. Stopped recruiting when he committed to Arizona.
WR - Garrett Wilson #14 - Garett is the supposed reason why Tom Herman releases all the information about Zach Smith. He’s a 5* WR from Austin that’s committed to Ohio State.
OL- Charles Turner is #78
DL - DeMarvin Neal #44 - Committed fo A&M. He’s been a monster this week at practice.
LB - Christian Harris #17 - The only Uhigh kid with an LSU offer. Committed to Bama. Traitor.
CB - Marcus Banks #8 - He was committed to us. Decommitted. Going to Bama or A&M today.
CB - Chris Steele #1 - Committed to Florida. We’ll face him every year.
Also here’s a link to the roster with jersey numbers:

Stingley isn't playing in this. You probably know that. I'm just pointing that out so some posters don't freak out when he isn't on the field today.

Thank you for that! Nice work Solo!

I wish Stingley was playing, I’m most excited to see his abilities out of all our studs coming in next yr

I’m saying it now, TDavis will be the best player in this class outside of Stingley.

thank you very much NamariTiger and SoloCam.
I'm hoping to see alot of reps by Turner at OT (not TE or FB). I've never understood some's obsession with weight of a HS OL here, on a 6'5" frame (and not grossly overestimated) he's got potential at OT.
Want to see what he's got as far as feet, agility, and technique. See if he's a OT in a TE's body (for now), or a oversized FB.

I wondered who it was.

Ty is a stud. Height, weight, 40 time very similar to LF7.
I’d like to see him drop 10-15 lbs, but he is underrated imo even at #6 RB in nation.
Brooks is similar. Highly rated, but still underrated.

I like the mic’d Up stuff. Wish they would have handed the damn ball off!
Kardell is enormous. Wish that could would have caught that screen because Turner and Kardell were about to block in space
