Not trying to be disrespectful or anything, and Im not necessarily directing this at you, but alot of Aggie fans seem to think that Sherman is raiding LA and stealing recruits away from LSU. And this just isnt the case, but thank you for stating that we get ours, because there is no doubt we do.

WTF are you talking about? Fischer lands two guys from Alabama, and we're all of a sudden in a world of hurt.
Capstone, I think he is referring more to the kids in FL that bama would usually have a great chance at getting. Both AU and Bama recruit the panhandle and areas around it hard

We can agree on that for sure, you just spewed that it would be impossible for A&M, or anyone for that matter to come into LA and snatch a kid (non-Amber Alert style) at all which has been proven false every year. The Cajun Mafia is too much for some, see J Fobbs, but some are willing to leave, much like the hot girls in LA that venture to Ole Missy or the State of Texas. With that said, having spent some quality time in the suites @ Tiger Stadium, it’s a college football cathedral, just as a lot of places are. Take some trips this fall, non-SEC, you might find yourself surprised, and you might remember the game!! Kidding!!

Alabama has had top ranked classes in the past four years with as many as five Florida kids, and as little as zero. I don't think Florida State's resurgence is going to stop that. I mean, our top ranked player as of right now is from Panama City Beach, Florida. So, obviously the 'Noles aren't getting everything in the Panhandle.

But if he's getting studs from in-state (that Bama and Auburn fight over already) and he's taking away some of the Florida guys.. it stings.
It's not like it's going to slow down Alabama recruiting by much tbh. Just like Auburn getting Reed/Robinson and Tenn getting Janzen Jackson.. it happens. Saban recruits extremely well pretty much everywhere, but there is no denying that it stings when it happens to ya.
How's the state of AL looking talent wise this year?

You remember when UL Lafayette beat Texas A&M in lafayette and took down the goal posts and ran all the way to downtown

Chris Casher is a LB in a year where the state of Alabama is loaded more than usual. It sucks to lose him, but it can be overcome.
Alphonse Taylor was recruited as a NG, but chose to commit to Florida State as a OT.

It's the deepest since the 2008 class.

Of course we do. The last good QB from your state; upsets are what make college football the best spectacle on earth. To ask you to understand the ramifications of that game would be like asking the dodo bird about life in the 21st century, a complete waste of breath…..

we definitely live our lives thru ULL here.

Say what you want, but we're seeing it take place this year already. FSU and Bama have a ton of head to head battles in the panhandle, and the more of those FSU wins, the more it hurts Bama. It also affects Bama when FSU hand picks some kids from Bama.

Very surprised that McFarland made it and Lathan was left out. Around the program, Lathan has been the one with a lot of buzz for a couple of years.

I can only count 7 scholarship offers to kids from the Panhandle. I don't even know if Florida State has offered all of those. Travis Blanks, Leonard Williams, and Colby Watson are the only promiment guys in the area Alabama is after.

Hand picks? Are you kidding me? You can pretend that Alabama lives and dies by talent from Florida, but Chris Casher is a LB/DE in a year where the state of Alabama is as deep as ever. He also is related to his recruiting coach, Dameyune Craig's, college teammate. Alphonse Taylor wanted to play OT. Alabama recruited him as a NG. Simple as that.

Eddie Williams?

Rivals 100 has 4 players from Alabama - 2 LB/DE
#52 Winston
#58 Yeldon
#77 Alexander LB
#83 Casher DE
How many top LB\DEs does bama usually put out?

FWIW - I read somewhere that Casher's dad is a huge Noles fan - so I assume Casher grew up a Noles fan too.

He's committed to Alabama. So, I wouldn't include him in the uncommitted guys with offers out.

2-3 SEC caliber LBs has been the norm. Alabama will sign 4 LBs in the 2012 class, and three may come from Alabama. Reggie Ragland, Kwon Alexander, and Tyler Hayes among those. Dillon Lee from Georgia would be the other. Although Javier Mitchell from Leeds, Ala. has gotten some pub lately.

I have no idea what team he grew up a fan of. I do know he talked a lot about Craig during his recruitment. They had a very close relationship because of the family ties.

Thanks for the Info.
PS - We'll be happy to trade you Casher for Williams.
