Holy shite they still are about to add Kelee, Darnell, Evans, and still have room for 1 more. They can sign 23.
How the hell is Kirby doing this/getting away with this?
That class is phenomenal

He's been doing the past few years and you see how that worked out
Great recruiter
Average coach

Kirby's been doing it since he got there. No lower class ranking than 3 I believe. Talent rich state with talent rich neighboring states. No real threat in state. Its a pretty great setup.

I can understand why the NCAA would turn a blind eye to Saban with all his success but WTF has Kirby won to garner the same??

Sounds like LSU’s relationship with LA.

Georgia has always recruited well. Yet, no national championship in 60 years.

He learned from Saban, he knows how to play the game. Welcome to the new generation of college football, you have to put up cash if you want the top talent.
The greatest thing is he can’t win with all that talent. I love reminding UGA that they haven’t won one since 1980 and they have a top 3 class over the last 5 years and haven’t done shite with it. Lol

I had no idea it had already been 60 years since 1980.

It will be at least 20 more before they win another one.

They were a blown lead and an overtime away from one just two years ago

Pretty much, but Georgia and Florida produce quit a bit more talent than Louisiana/Texas (Active NFL players Fla/Ga - 332, LA/TX - 238). Good thing is we don't have any competition for LA kids in state, and really only have to worry about Alabama poaching our in state talent we want.

It’s true but you’re naive if you think LSU or the majority of other P5 schools aren’t doing the same thing.

It makes no sense to me for them to be AS SUCCESSFUL this year as they have been in previous years from simply a momentum or performance perspective.
We had the leading rusher and touchdown scorer in the sec this year and a passing offense the likes the league has never witnessed before, and yet, somehow we’re losing a running back to them that has to jump three states to get there and a receiver, although from Georgia, that bolted after one last minute visit? Not to mention, we’ve drubbed Georgia, and I mean DRUBBED them the last two years straight up. You add in the fact we’ve won about every performance and coaching award imaginable this year and the reality that they’ve produced an offense that would rival Les Miles’ archaic gems here and there’s just no reason for us to lose any offensive recruit to them this year.
There HAS to be another factor at work here for that to make any sense at all.
