the muscle flexing of the selects is about to begin.

This!

I heard Parkview had a meeting the other day and I'm sure Notre Dame, SCC, Evangel and so on will all do they're thing as well.

What is suggest is having 1A-5A playoffs by classification for both select and non select and when each classification has their winner let them play each other. Both will have the "select/non select" championship see who is the best. Doubt the non select schools would have the balls for it though

Manny is the best receiver we have! If he is at QB the team will be minus a weapon

Manny does some of his best stuff blocking down field, very good football instincts. I hope DJ can fill that role at QB.

I've haven't seen Manny play QB enough to say how effective he will be. I know he's a good receiver. Not very fast, but very sure-handed. Will be a good replacement for #21 Zach, tough. He was the same kind of player. #11 D'Vante Dotson will step up to replace the production lost by #10 Chris Moore. As far as #36 DJ, he plays off his instincts, which I personally like to see. But, I don't thinks he will be handed the reins. The system Mahaffey has in place doesn't fit a QB like him. The biggest loses will be on defense with #56 Tim Williams, #20 Steve Sensley, and #24 Jarrod Franklin. But, we still have #22 Bo Bankston and #44 Jake Wharton back there knocking heads off! They will be fine!

A read option offense with DJ at QB and Nick and Dylan at RB, behind a deep and experienced OL would have us competing with most anyone next year. Doubt we would retool the offense like that, but that puts three unstoppable runners on the field at the same time.

And you left out a couple of other returning players on defense worth mentioning, but I'll pick on you next time I see you about that.

No disrespect intended. Forgot to mention #8 Mr. Berg returning to rush off the edge again next year! Forgive me. I'm getting old. My memory fails me sometimes!

No worries Wildman. One thing about him going against #77 in practice everyday is that he'll never face anyone that good in our games. Makes him better!

I had a blast playing with both of them. Both can be studs at the next level if they choose to be. 2 of the funniest people I know as well
