Hopefully his coach being gone gives us a chance.

Everything I read is that LSU has the door opened to them now.

See they actually got in the door!

Shea and Billy say he’ll be a LB in college
He, Atkins, and Keys would be a solid LB class

Heard that during their Bengal Tiger Podcast yesterday! Seems like 247 on the LSU side isn't as solid anymore...

It has to be open now, even Wider since that Fat narcissistic cheese head has moved on, no wonder the previous 2 Fatheads couldn’t make it work they probably reminded each other of themselves.

But I was told there was no beef with LSU lol

I saw someone had him listed as a lb.
I haven't seen him play.
What does everyone think his position will be?

He’s going to grow into a modern LB. A guy who can drop in coverage, run sideline to sideline, and blitz if needed. He’s very aggressive around the LOS. He’ll play in college around 225 if I had to guess.

New coach played at ole miss. Might not be much better

He's a LB in the modern game. Fantastic athlete(listed as such on 1 service, or was) who could probably play S if forced but he's a modern LB. With the current models of defensive alignments and assignments really only true DL and CBs really have what I'd call set positions. Harold Perkins, under traditional defensive assignments, handled S, LB and DE responsibilities commonly last season. That Simmons kid from Clemson back in the '18, '19 years was the prototype for those type of guys.
Saw the Atkins kid from Jonesboro(now TX) described as a MLB while listed at 6' <200 lbs the other day(believe the podcast from On3). Traditionally he'd be a S or small LB. Now he's a MLB. Far from the Devin White 6'3 240 MLB we're used to.

New coach is an alum and ex player at Ole Piss. So don’t expect help from former or present coach
Posted on 2/17/23 at 3:38 pm to LSU_connoisseur
It will be better than it was though

Devin runs sub 4.5 forty and moves fluidly. You’re right Devin White’s are not typical but If you find someone as large as Devin that can move like Devin then he can play just about anywhere.

Ah, the famous ‘Many, LA’

From what im being told by a few people around many is the kid is die-hard purple and gold. He is a really good player. he actually alittle closer to the 215lb mark and he ran down trey holley from behind in the state finals.

Love to hear that, he’s a legitimate problem for opposing teams.
