It wouldn't surprise me at all if we got Tua's brother at QB. It would solidify the rivalry more. Brothers playing each other at QB not just in college football, but the SEC, and West no less. I mean how many new records or historical records could be made. All to keep the NCAA-SEC-Alabama-ESPN machine "rolling".

It’s not as far fetched as people want to think it is...the vibe at the game between he and the recruits was really really positive

Exactly my point. He is being told where to go, and it would bring more drama, excitement, history, etc... to the college football machine. I mean I thought everyone knew that certain players get placed at colleges or bought to attend certain colleges...

Ain't happening!! Lia is solid to BAMA! He wants to play with his brother. Family means everything in the Polynesian culture. He only played at a different HS in Hawaii because his father wanted to get him reps and further enhance his development.

Ok so you missed the point of it not being his decision. I could care less where he goes. And you might be right, maybe the whole thing was setup because of the game hype, or maybe the decision makers want to see brothers compete against each other... I guess we will see.

They would never play each other. Tua is gone after next year and Burrow isn’t going anywhere.

This.

I don't even know why this board waste time on this. I understand why Coach O recruits him. It make perfect sense to build a good relationship with people that may have an impact on the decisions of future recruits. It's Coach O's job to network like that despite not winning a recruit. Coaches lose more than they win but from those losses valuable insight and relationships can be gathered from the experience that can be potentially leveraged down the road.

And he should keep doing that for the NFL.

Put the crack pipe down before I call an Intervention. The REC has bought this entire family and relatives with $$, cars, tuition, house, jobs, and a very comfortable living. Answer this question: how does an entire family just pick up residence in Hawaii and move to Tuscaloosa with zero connections previously ?

If TAF, boosters, or LSU people with contacts did the same for Tua Jr., Alabama would report us to the SEC and our soft compliance department would sing like a jay bird. The kid is NOT coming to LSU

How would the compete against each other? Burrow is the starter next year at LSU and Tua gonna be the #1 overall draft pick.

Even if he goes to Bama he’s there with his brother for 1 year, then he has to compete against BEAR BRYANT’s great grandson........ how you think that’s gonna go?

just a suggestions, look up median house prices on Oahu, compared to Tuscaloosa. We're not talking about moving to silicon valley here.

Ahhh so he will sit the bench behind the much less talented (legitimate) grandson of Bear Bryant.

Congrats to him. Wise move.

Do you realize that people pick up and move across the country every day?

How exactly are they going play each other when Lil’ Tua backs up senior Burrow next year and the next year Tua’s in the NFL?
