LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Ohio State, and Clemson would be presumptive top 5.

No. he said he would be releasing a top 6 soon. then said it would be a top 5 instead. Also, his dad played at UVA, wouldn’t be surprised if they make it on the list.

That is also true, I'd expect Ohio State, LSU, Clemson, and then two of Penn State, Oklahoma and Virginia.

I don’t have that much of a problem with these top lists. especially if you really aren’t ready to commit. it’s a good way to let schools know whether they should keep recruiting you or if they should move on to someone else.

It’s a good thing when a kid doesn’t rush into a commitment. Shows that he’s really thinking about which one is better for his future.

I’ve been following recruiting for over a decade and I still don’t understand the top 10, top 5, top 3...seems like a lot of work for no reason. Most schools won’t back off you just because they aren’t in your top 10.
