Longevity wise and possibly financially you could be right, however you have to factor in what position the kid actually enjoys playing more.

If Citizen wants to be a RB more than a LB, then for God's sake let the kid make the choice to play RB.

If LSU doesn't give him that choice, another school will, and he will be out the door. Its different if the kid has the choice, but it's BS if the coach says "sorry son your a linebacker here" that isn't going to work, and more kids will leave then stay when position changes are forced on them.

There are gump and Ag lurkers who do this regularly here. It still makes no sense to me why you have to get permission to post or even vote on their boards, but anyone can still do so here.

Did not realize that, it figures there would be no requirements to post on the LSU forum, but there are to post on other teams forums.

Clearly there are major douchebags from those other forums that stick their big noses into this board. I can make perfectly valid points in discussions, and it never fails, some asshat will auto downvote my comment regardless.

Exactly, White was 260lbs. Citizen is 217lbs, and even so, there are a number of 230+lb RB's in the NFL. Leonard Fournette is one of them.

Hopefully we land the combo of Moss, and Citizen, and call it good for RB's for 2022.

Citizen may not be Devin White but he could definitely be Patrick Queen. Queen was listed at 6’0” 209lbs coming out of high school and he seems to be doing pretty well as a modern day NFL LBer

I don’t think either have the frame that Devin White had. Moss and Citizen are both running backs 100%

very few LB's have the frame of Devin White but Citizen does have the frame of Patrick Queen. I would just try to get him in this class and then let him and the staff figure that out once he gets on campus.

6’1”, 217 lbs as a junior in HS leads to playing LB in college IMO
