Richardson was shaken when he heard the news, and he tried to no avail to call Thompson all day. He said Thompson's phone was not working.

Nick cut his phone off

if we don't get him I sure hope you do,
Anything to keep Bama in check would be great.

I'd love to see him sign w/ Tenn.

And it is a little different, CLT is leaving us to go straight to a rival

Not too much different. Yes, Saban went to the NFL and THEN he went to one of our biggest rivals. If he goes to back to the Big 10, or another conference, that would be ok, but not BAMA.

How would you feel if he left you for UT or Auburn? NOW you understand.

Derby,
Don't you think he would be a good fit at UF? That has been the big hole in UF for the past couple of years, not having a true running back.

Wrong. That is one man who everyone has to refer to as Coach Bryant.

Absolutely.

He just does it so somebody will like him. Kinda like putting a pork chop in his pocket so the dog will play with him.

What Pedro Martinez said about Babe Ruth applies...

"You want the Babe, fine, dig him up. Maybe then I'll bean him in the arse."

honestly, Urban doesn't use traditional RBs, so I'm not convinced he would have a flourishing career as a Gator

it is clear that in Urban's offensive system he wants gadget backs with elite speed... don't have to be big, don't have to be able to follow blocks and run between the tackles, etc... he just wants everyone touching the ball to have 4.3 speed or under

Trent is your traditional SEC back who will be a physical, between-the-tackles type ...Bama and LSU really are likely his best fits IMO

I'd say TR's chances of becoming a Tiger are growing by the minute...Bama coach bolts and now DP's probably gone and TR's still coming on a visit...hmmmmm.

Whatever, UF has many good RB's Meyer just doesn't use them. If I was a RB recruit, I wouldn't give UF the time of day.
