I hate to see TR go to Alabama because I think he is more of a sure thing as a college player of just about any 5* out there.

I was hopeing to pull him our way after his visit. Apparently not. Ford will be a good one together they would be a tandem for defenses to lose sleep over.

Perhaps, but it is very doubtful that Lacy qualifies. ...and his commitment this year doesn't necessarily mean that he'll do the same next year or the year after.

I am so enjoying the rivalary that we will have with Alabama for the next several years! One player does not make a team but a team wins championships. LSU will be a hard team to deal with for years to come.

a stable would be better defined as:

Ford, Seastrunk, Ridley, Allen

Seastrunk hasn't even played his Senior year of HS.
they are not a "stable" when one of them isn't even on the team.

Scott, Williams, Murphy, Ford, Ridley, Allen, Calhoun

Factor in next year's recruiting class and I think we'll be alright at RB for awhile

I was pulling for TR. But on the bright side this puts us in a better position with Seastrunk. We've got 3 superb upperclassman plus Ridley. We've signed 2 great recruits and now we have a better shot at the 2010 phenom.

have we lost all hope?

IMO, the TR thing reminds me a little bit of T. Pryor last year. I think we are just a little too late in recruiting this guy really hard.

(I know we didn't really recruit Pryor before January last year and we have TR, but we didn't make a hard push at either until very late in the game for all you over technical rantards.)
