I hope we got get him. The more I think about it there’s no way we get thru the season with 3 runners. He’s special.

He’s too broken down unfortunately. He’s had pretty significant injuries and has not logged any playing time at all

I gotta be honest. I’m very biased when it comes to Louisiana kids. Especially guys like Citizen who are rare talents from southwest Louisiana. I see him as an alley Broussard or Cecil Collins type of talent. As far as proof of his current health there are reports of Mario Cristobal being very complimentary of him this spring and there is video of him going thru drills looking light footed and in shape. Kaleb Jackson aside we don’t have another him on this roster. We usually cycle thru 4-5 backs at a minimum. the full court press that we put in him out of highschool should point to how the staff views him. I’m hopeful we get him. He’s an awesome athlete.

Not trying to pile on here but LSU definitely doesn’t need a perennially injured RB right now. DT should be the focus with CB there as well.
