When Wade was fired I said we would lose all recruits and everyone would leave. I honestly feel we hit a home run getting McMahon, but I honestly felt he would be able to keep maybe 3 or 4 guys. Man this sucks.

At this point I guess we have to expect that everyone in the portal is gone. If we self impose losing 2 scholarships we only have 11 available with 6 current players committed. Obviously Fudge and Wilkinson are shaky commits for a couple of weeks.
So starting lineup:
PG- Justice Hill
SG- Trae Hannibal
SF- (open)
PF- Kendal Coleman
C- (open)
BENCH
Cornelius Williams, F
(open)
(open)
(open)
(open)
(open)
Priority is obviously a starting center and maybe a backup C. Some depth at G. Shareef I think is still the most likely to return, which would be a key position. The two Murray State guys would have a spot if they wanted it.
If we get one of the M State guys we would only have 4 spots left. Obviously most of the guys in the portal can't come back.
ETA: Fudge was obviously a shaky commit over the next hour.
ETA2: And then went Mwani.

The players don't know Matt McMahon. I don't blame them for putting their names into the portal. I think several will come to like him and withdraw their names.

0 kids from Louisiana have entered the transfer portal on LSU’s team. This was a roster that was loyal to Wade not the school. Also none have officially left yet, (not saying they won’t) but why wouldn’t they put there name in the portal and see what other opportunities are out there?

It will be like self imposing a postseason ban this coming year when the team couldn't be expected to make much of a run.
