So 13 HS kids, 9 transfers puts us at 22 total. I believe we can take up to 32 transfers and HS kids combined right now, meaning we can get 10 more HS, and transfers? Am I correct in this?
Jacoby Matthews
Trevonte Citizen
Danny Lewis
Mekhi Wingo
Shorts
There’s your start +5 more. Still think we need another offensive lineman, defensive lineman, LB, CB. This class with the transfers is shaping out quite nicely. I also apologize for my tone to OP in earlier post in this thread. Great thread.

No worries buddy, I didn’t take it personally.
And, yes, you are correct about the 13 HS signees and nine (9) transfers (total of 22 as of 1/17/2022). So that leaves us a maximum of 10 more HS/transfers.
Here’s what I’m hoping for by February 2nd (NSD):
(1) Tre’Mond Shorts
(2) Mekhi Wingo
(3) Jacoby Mathews
(4) Harold Perkins
(5) TreVonte Citizen
(6) Danny Lewis
Carry the remaining four (4) scholarships to the post-spring wave of portal entrants to pickup:
(a) CB
(b) TE
(c) OL (preferably a Center)
(d) WR

What did I miss with Perkins that we are confident again?
Posted on 1/17/22 at 1:31 pm to TheTexasTiger7
People keep on saying we can take 32 total but do we not have any of the signees from the early signing period being counted towards last years class since we didn’t sign our full class?
Posted on 1/17/22 at 2:04 pm to AkronTiger
The staff is making a full court press recruiting Perkins, and it looking like we will get a visit from him on the last weekend before signing day. (Him and Jacoby Matthews visiting same weekend)
