he ran a tight ship at Jackson State
Stop it- I have a friend that was a part of the program and left b/c of how he handled things and treated some kids. Let's see him try to do or say some of the things he said/did while at CU and see how that goes.

JT Danial’s is a GRADUATE TRANSFER. No limits that’s why he’s transferred and can play immediately. Same thing Joe Burrow did.
The graduate transfer rule allows you use the one-time exception for immediate eligibility in football. Previously, the one-time exception did not apply to football which is why graduate transfers were a big deal.
Now the one-time exception does apply to football. So the graduate transfer rule is redundant - it allows you to utilize an exception that is already available to any football player.
As others have said, it appears grad transfers who have already used their one-time exception are applying for waivers from the NCAA. Maybe the NCAA is rubber stamping these waivers, but the actual rule in the D1 Manual does not guarantee immediate eligibility for a grad transfer who has already transferred previously.

Say what you will about Deion, but he ran a tight ship at Jackson State, he talks a convincing game, and relates well to players.
Lol. I live outside of Jackson and he definitely doesn’t run a tight ship. He is in the mold of a coach much like Ed O. He will promote and recruit well to turn Colorado around some. Maybe they get to 8-4 at some point. Then one of two things will happen. Recruits will realize he is all talk and they are not getting developed properly, Colorado will fall or he moves on to do it all over again. His program is a house of cards. It will fail at the higher levels but for boulder, 8-4 would be like winning a natty for them so I can understand the excitement.

What I'm looking for is some list of the actual exemptions that can be used to justify applying for the rubber stamp.
JT Daniels has to be using something that's not mainstream to be eligible to transfer again or we'd all be aware of the reason.
Fields leaving GA had something to do with race (IIRC) for example.
