Due to his shameful behavior, Torshiro Davis deserves any and all of the backlash he will face for the rest of his life.

As does anyone else who aided and abetted in his embarrassing charade.

If you don't want to go to a school, fine. Do what Denzell Devall did. Express your interest in other schools clearly and commit to your favorite, thereby allowing LSU to recruit other players in your position.

Occupying a seat for the hell of it is the worst thing a recruit can do. He is deliberately fricking over the program he is committed to because other players believe he will be ahead of them on the depth chart.

frick you, Torshiro for lying to the coaches for a year.

frickING THIS. And before someone starts with the whole "these are just 18/18 year old kids", let me stop you right there. You're fricking with people's coaching careers with your games.

If you're committed to a program for a year, there is no excuse to back out, lie to everyone involved and try to frick with a program by not letting them recruit against that spot.

You want to leave the state and go play ball somewhere else? I don't care. But don't be a shithead. You think he just woke up this morning and decided to go to Texas? No way. This has been in the works for awhile.

I seriously hope he keeps making poor choices, gets booted from Texas and ends up making my cheeseburgers at Burger King. I wish nothing but ill on him for now on.

Who? Our signing day surprises were guys like Sam Montgomery and JR Ferguson who were not committed to anyone and didn't even have clearcut leaders. I suppose you can claim that Copeland was committed to Tennessee, but that was to the Kiffin staff.

The only guy I can think of was Perriloux.

On the other hand, Kiffin did this with Janzen Jackson (although many on the board doubted Janzen's commitment for a long time) and he tried to do the same thing with Justin Hunter until Dooley made him go public.

If this wasn't premeditated, then nothing is.

And it's the epitome of a bitch move no matter who does it.

Again we will never know all of what happens behind the scenes but it would appear to me that Patrick Miller believed he had a scholarship offer from LSU coaches and an agreement that he would be an early enrollee(aka a commitment from our coaches) only to be pushed aside when someone deemed more important came along. How is that not the same thing in terms of promising something and not fulfilling the promise?

frickin ay! I have more ill will towards Davis than Collins, know why? Because at least Collins allowed us to go get Thompson. This prick decided that he was bigger than eveything else. I dont want him making burgers, I want him driving a garbage truck.

The Miller recruitment is very upsetting because we lost a guy who wanted to be here and in return, we got nothing.

However, I am confused by why he was asked to walk-on for one semester. Was it because a scholarship was reserved for Kiel or because a player who was supposed to graduate a semester early failed to do so?

I honestly don't know what's going on there.

Due to the 85 limit rule only x amount of players could enroll early. Miller clearly thought he would be one and I assume that was based off conversations with the staff. Then Kiel committed and was to be an early enrollee and that would have put us 1 over the limit so Miller was told he could no longer enroll early. Or rather he was told if he wanted to that he'd need to pay his own way for the spring semester. I don't see how that is any different than a recruit backing out on a commitment. To blast the kids and not the coaches is just putting on blinders as far as I'm concerned.
