If we do dip into that market, I hope it would be for a guy that was a freshman this year that didn't redshirt so they could redshirt the year they have to sit out and fill that gap in the QB succession on the depth chart.
I don't know what names fall into that category though.

I don't think it really matters if they redshirted or not. Either way they still have 3 years left. The only upside for one that didn't redshirt is that he will have a little bit of game experience.

If any kid possibly transferring would be a high priority guy for me, Justin Fields. At least would have to make every effort. That kid isn't sitting another year behind Fromm.

Yea Fields would be a possibility here, but he would be dumb to transfer. Why wait a year here when he can do the same thing in Georgia? I assume Fromm will go pro after next year. If he didn't Fields would be pissed.

Fromm is a 4 year guy. NFL-wise he is a 3-5th round pick after his senior year.

Agreem. Kirby seems attached to Fromm and I just don't see Fields sticking through the drama. Add in the racism angle that was public for a while and he makes a perfect transfer candidate. Don't think we'd get him but we should make every effort in trying.
