Basically,
We wasted a bunch of time and money last Friday. I was in Texas De Brazil and they ate the place down. Thats a high end place where people dress up etc. There was some jogging pants etc., with people walking aroung the salad bars eating with their hands. We had 60 plus people on the ticket, current players, staffers, hot chicks ?, recruits, coaches, etc. The only person who committed was already in. The damage was done on Monday night. The players can say what they want the Fam will have to be refixed. They bailed on Les as fast as they could after that shite. Shep is back because he basically was going to cost himself too much money.

onoez

Go ahead and pull the trigger... Who gives a shite if we "wasted money" at a restaurant. It's a game you have to play these days and that's all part of it... half the shite was probably comped anyway.Either way that's not going to break the athletic budget.

While I might be inclined to agree that the championship game may have hurt a little bit. We still had a pretty damn good year. I think we'll benefit a bit next year when some of this wears off and on the trail they can point to some rebuilding and get some guys in here by stating we did win 13 games and the SEC.

We really need to replace Billy G with a good hire IMO.

he's trying to get more idiots to watch their all day recruiting day coverage on ESPNU. If people think the top recruit is really up in the air, they may tune in and watch.

Edwards is bye bye

Two weeks ago Gunner Kiel was excited to watch his team play for a national title. A week later he was enrolled at ND. Not saying that it will happen, but we should know as well as anyone how quickly a 18 year old kid can change his mind.

With all the wave of disappointment that has hit us over the past few weeks maybe we will finally have something go our way. Until he signs his LOI, I will continue to hope that we somehow land him. Hell, I would rather feel like it's a long shot to land him than to think it's a sure thing only to find out it really wasn't.

You are retarded. I might can count the number of times I've been there on 1 hand, but I promise everytime people are wearing shorts, flipflops, and whatever. I'm honestly not sure if thats what u were saying because your post kinda rambles on, but either way it was ignorant

I think these rumors are causing us to wait too long and lose a player or two. Look at what happened with the mismanagement of Kiel. He soaked us good and I wonder who besides his Mother influenced him to change his mind and caused us to lose the Miller kid?

I still think other schools are going out of their way to remind those recruits about how we stunk up the super dome.

Miles looked like an inept fool in that game and every recruit in the country was watching.

Anybody that thinks the lack of game preparation and refusal to make any adjustments during the gameby Miles did not hurt recruiting is on meth .......

And we should counter that we won the SEC and that 117 teams didn't make the Super Dome!!

Won the SEC West by beating Alabama in their own house, and won the SEC championship trophy

Prefer to focus on the recruits we have a chance with and the ones that have commited. Good luck to MEJ, maybe they can win the ACC in the next 4 years.

I agree with this and I think there are some things getting lost in the interpretation of what happened. It's not "THAT" we lost...it's "HOW" we lost the game that is affecting things, IMHO. It's been said a million times, but our coach was either without an answer or had a refusal to acknowledge that his "Chosen One" wasn't getting the job done. I'm not saying the program is falling apart, but it's very difficult to not acknowledge that whether it's an ineptness or a stubbornness on Miles part that cause the debacle it matter not, it is affecting the program, at least in the short run.

Changing QB's may not have made a difference, I'll admit that, but it couldn't have hurt...it would have shown there was a willingness to try to win the game...would most likely have made a difference this year on the recruiting trail.
