re: To all of you who are freaking out

It was from me. So basically through reading he gave a commit to Texas in June on his official. Then we get the Texas RPM and crystal balls picks riding high. Texas thinks he’s about to pop after the visit. He waits and then ends up at LSU for the Bayou Splash. Four days in Baton Rouge with family. The whole 9 for an unofficial. Pictures, tour, “commitment” video. (He has done one of these for Texas and Miami as well).

Then LSU starts to feel they have him locked in. Honestly to me you look at Brandon Harris and Sherman Wilson’s Twitter. You see how these recruiting guys on both sides feel because they can’t help themselves but tweet something.

Then I believe yesterday but possibly this morning I see that after all the resources LSU has poured into this recruitment with I think 8 visits(Official still set for Florida) that if he chooses Texas the staff will have felt played and not going to go through these games.

Yeah what if Texas put an NIL that’s untouchable in there that’s the landscape. LSU believes/believed that their relationships are/were enough at the end of the day with NIL. LSU will never NIL Texas. You get rewarded with NIL at LSU once you come to campus and earn it.

You can’t blame Colin for staying home if he chooses so he’s from Texas. It’s why it won’t hurt as bad the next day.

I know that’s a lot of shite to read but we’re hanging on the patio with drinks so I say all that to say this. If he picks Texas after all the time they’ve spent on him and his family they will divert their resources into other prospects. BK and staff feel like they did enough to secure his commitment.
