What are the thoughts on him. Apparently has a pretty good list of offers. SE was at practice this last week and he expects a LSU offer soon.

How good can this kid be?LINK

As soon as he camps and throws for coaches he'll get it.

Notre Dame, UF, LSU at practices this week. Spring game against Belle Chasse on Thursday. He doesn’t have a ton of talent to work with outside of their RB (offers from Tulane, SLU, more D1 offers coming)

I wonder how much bigger he will get, the last measurables I saw of him were 6-6/233.

What time? I get home at 4:30 and live a mile from the school, I would like to check it out.

Who knows. I have seen 205, 225 and now 233.

He's got a really quick release, but his throwing motion is a little funky. Do you know how his arm strength is? It's hard to tell from the first few minutes of those highlights when he isn't throwing it downfield much.

I like his size and athleticism already.

He is not a dual threat.

Don't have to be a dual threat to look athletic in the pocket. Some kids that are that big that young are tripping over their own feet back there. I didn't see that with him.

He has a great arm, but not athletic at all. Can’t get out of his own way if he has to pull it down and leave the pocket. Arrogant and has a bad attitude. Teammates are not big fans of him. He loves to tell everyone just how good he is.

He doesn’t move well at all and you’re wrong if you think otherwise. Opposing coaches will beg him to run.

I lived that life for years, but not anymore. Take anything I say for what it’s worth but I do know about some things. I rarely post on this board...let’s just say Finley isn’t at his second high school for no reason. Maybe maturity will help but lots of people were not unhappy when he left STA. It’s hard to be a quarterback and not be a leader and good teammate. Athletically...he’s the prototypical pocket passer. Tall, big, rocket arm but not a very good athlete. Against good competition he is a statue and doesn’t like to be hit.

Well I can see why you aren't anymore. Pocket presence =/= opposing coaches begging him to run. And he is a very good athlete for his size, check out his AAU basketball highlights as well.

Me no longer coaching is beyond the point. You don’t know me or why I’m not in the profession any longer. I’m just telling you things I know, but by all means, if you are such an expert so be it. You can bookmark this post. He will sign with a big school because of size and arm strength. I’m willing to say he more than likely won’t finish where he signs. They will figure him out, he won’t handle adversity, he will wear out his welcome. I can see him ending up somewhere like Jackson St.
