what a bunch of miserable pricks. I hope the MF is faster, like i said he seemed faster. what i'm saying is chad jones got waxed this past year and in my opinion is too slow. Chavis should demand that he be allowed to turn CJ into an elite LB. I want a safety that gets there with the ball and delivers a hit a la laron and steltz, not someone who arrives at the last second to bat the ball away a la CJ.

Chad Jones got waxed cuz he was lost and out of position. It's more instinct than pure speed to play safety as I think we've proven in this thread. Chavis and Cooper will fix that and make a monster outta Jones.......and Loston.
I'm not a miserable prick. I just noticed you start 2 threads in about 3 days bitching about Loston when he's the number 1 ranked safety in the nation and by all accounts exactly what we need on this defense in the years to come. You can't take the scouting services speed numbers seriously. For exampl, Drayton Calhoun runs a 4.31 but I believe his profile has him about 4.4 if I remember correctly.

If you and the other haters on this thread had basic reading comprehension skills, you would see that my post was questioning the statement in the TP about what his speed was, not declaring that was actually his speed. the other part about CJ, I believe to be true. I hope your ability to predict the future is greater than your basic comprehension skills. Good Luck.

It's hard to say he can't play safety when CJ has never been lined up at safety. He struggles playing nickel back, not FS.

Sammy Knight played in the NFL for 12 years and ran at his best and in his prime maybe a 4.7 but probably closer to a 4.8.
