Look Cole, uh, I mean Tigertracts, you will probably get your offer. Just try not to sound so desperate!

Why read it?
I personally believe this will just be another feather in the qb fiascos of Les' coaching career.
I'm fine with Franks and excited he's a Tiger, but to go out and offer any other oos qb's after Franks is inexcusable. On the kids we miss on in state, it seems they all say others were on them harder and earlier. I personally thinks Less takes the local talent for granted thinking he can swoop in and get em back. Many times it works. Of course we've missed on a few, most on the offensive side of the ball

He definitely looks worthy of an offer

although i disagree with you on some things...his mechanics are very good where as Franks almost has a wind up throw its a very long delivery and kelley is very quick...and yes he has great pocket presence...i love the kid...he is probably my favorite prospect of this class...and i hope we get him

Until LSU can establish some sort of stability at the QB position there will continue to be well warranted criticism. It is recognized by the entire CFB community, not just LSU fans.

Just cause Patterson isn't going to LSU doesn't take away that he isn't the best in LA but no way he is better than franks and especially not Eason
This is an unreadable sentence.

There's no need to rush the decision. No need at all.
LSU has lots of options at this point.
I'd prefer LSU to sign the QB who will be best, not the QB who will sign first.

Will this kid commit if offered? A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush if we can get this kid commitment now they should offer. I know Cam is waiting on commits from Haskins or the kid from Indiana. Plus we will be pushing hard next season for Lowell. Harris, Franks, Kelly, and Lowell would be a great haul at the qb position for us.
From what I have gathered, he seems to be on the same page as the staff, and would likely commit if offered, which would be after he camps. I hope the kid is patient enough to do so, and sounds like he is.
He is not the best QB in the class. He doesn't have a great release, and my goodness keeps his weight in his back foot while he throws, which causes him to throw some ducks (beautiful ducks I might say). Ill be the typical rant guy and compare that to Lee, who had the same problem and threw a ton of picks as a result. College DBs can get to those balls.
However, with good coaching, which we (now) have, he can correct that.
I would love for him to be on board, and I think would mark a true turnaround at the QB position after nearly a decade of uncertainty, or at least thin depth charts.
Of course our fanbase is going to come up with the next LA guy that will be the.best qb ever, right after Patterson commits to OM, but in this case I agree that kelly is the best fit as a second QB in this class and rooting for him. A kid from down the road might be more inclined to bide his time if he falls behind Franks than some kid from new England.

Kelley definitely looks like a great QB prospect. Has a great arm and he looks a lot more athletic than those who typically have his size. I hope he tears up the LSU camp over the Summer and gets his offer.

Watch some more recent film on Franks. Not being a homer, that kid seriously looks like a blue chip prospect, like to the point he will compete right away.

How he found is way over from the rant I would like to know. Dude brings nothing but bullshite to any thread he is involved in.

I would love to have Haskins in this class along with Franks, but the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim IMO. Haskins is a top 10 QB and it is rare to have two national top 10 guys in one class. I think any QB commit in this class besides Franks is going to be a program/developmental player like a Kelly. I know Haskins is related to Toliver and whatnot, but I doubt he will want to come in and compete with Franks for 3 or 4 years.

Oh look another Cole Kelley thread!
Posted on 3/6/15 at 8:17 am to Datbayoubengal
i'd be perfectly ok if LSU took franks and kelley and called it a day

I know it doesn't mean much, but Haskins is rated higher on 24/7 than Franks and Patterson. He is the 52nd player and Franks is 63rd - I think - and Patterson is a few lower than Franks.

No it hasent. Throwing out offers to people just to get em to camp is not a wise move when there is equally impressive in state talent.
If the guy would commit, it would make us lose the in state guy.
So, screw these comments when Les belittles in star guys who leave, saying "to hell with em" and then he turns around and does shite like this.
It's not that I'm a Kelly guy, it's that I'm an LSU guy who wants Les to do what he preaches and take our instate guys over ios guys he's never seen play
