All these comments really make us look sore. TW was never dishonest about his recruitment nor did he say anything bad about LSU. He is just a young guy who would like to play elsewhere.
Not too many people are upset with Tim. Just the fact that Bama signs him and all of the sudden saban stole louisiana's too recruit. Not sure he's even top 5. Good athlete but we have a lot of talent in la this year an next.

He must come out of nowhere for him to be "running back picks in an LSU jersey" since I have no idea who that is.
Also, speak English.

Yes, let's make multiple spelling comments about a guy that mispelled a 14 letter name with superfluous punctuation instead of looking at the content of his post, which is actually pretty accurate.

I'm just annoyed by ESPN and their constant need to frick with things to generate content.
ETA: Hope the weather calms down for yall, ice storms are nothing to play with.

Greg Ostendorf reported him as the #1 recruit who reports recruiting for tidenation. It doesn't matter. Whatever makes them feel better. But the truth as already presented is he's the 3rd best recruit in LA. On one site, I believe Scout, he's listed below Boutte.

Per the bible... Dandy Don
1. Kendell Beckwith (DE/LB), 6'3", 225, East Feliciana. Very athletic. Plays QB in high school and has a very strong arm and outstanding foot speed. Projected to play DE or linebacker at the next level. LSU commitment
2. Tre'Davious White (DB/WR), 5'11", 175, Green Oaks. Great athlete with 4.5 speed. Last season he played as a quarterback, receiver, defensive back and specialist for Green Oaks. Had outstanding All-Star game. Morris Claiborne's god-brother. LSU commitment
3. John Diarse (ATH), 6'0", 200, Neville. Very athletic and could play on either side of the ball. Most likely will play safety or receiver in college. LSU commitment
4. Desean Smith (TE), 6'5", 225, Barbe. Has great size and great hands. Will make a great receiving tight end. LSU commitment
5. Jeryl Brazil (ATH), 5'10", 185, Loranger. Great athlete who can play several positions. Extremely fast; holds the state high school record in the 100 meters with a time of 10.41 and has been invited to play in the US Army All-Star game next December. LSU commitment
6. Melvin Jones (LB), 6'3", 240, Washington Marion. Very athletic, great speed and very physical. Father played for Texas A&M. LSU commitment
7. Michael Patterson (DE), 6'5", 240, Winnfield. Great quickness and football intincts. Will be very highly recruited. LSU commitment
8. Tevin Lawson (DT), 6'4", 285, Denham Springs. Hard-nosed, one of the better defensive tackles in the state. LSU commitment
9. Josh Boutte (OL), 6'5", 300, Westgate. Great size to play guard or tackle in college. Comes from a great program and should be well prepared for SEC ball. LSU commitment
10. Rickey Jefferson (CB/WR), 6'0", 190, Destrehan. Great speed and runs good routes. (Jordan Jefferson's brother.) LSU commitment
11. Tim Williams (LB/DE), 6'3", 225, University High. Great foot speed. Could play defensive end or linebacker.
12. Duke Riley (LB), 6'1", 212, John Curtis. Very physical, and a very hard worker.
13. David Elias (DE), 6'3", 263, Dutchtown. Very agressive and fast for his size. Appears to be groing into a tackle.
14. Standish Dobard (TE), 6'5", 230, Karr. Big target and outstanding prospect.
15. Jeremy Cutrer (DB), 6'3", 175, Jewel Sumner. Played cornerback and safety in high school but will probably be a safety at the college level. Was All-District as a sophomore. LSU commitment
Final answer.

I cant beleive we are this distrought over one player.
No one is distraught over the player. If anything, ESPN blatantly stepped on the notoriety of the other two players in LA that ranked above him simply because he committed to Alabama by giving him the unearned #1 tag.
Congrats to him for signing. Pity to ESPN for falsely playing up his position in the state.

Now that the Tim Williams threads will start to die down...I guess it's time for the daily Nkemdiche threads to begin.

One more example of why ESPN recruiting info/site is garbage. Who was it the other day that posted ESPN was the best recruiting sight?

HE'LL BE A BUST, JUST LIKE EDDIE LACY AND KENNY BELL!!

Exactly, I don't care about the kid he didn't make a big issue and everyone knows he wasn't coming here. It was just funny to point out how ESPN has become.

I bet Falkins is the #2 rated player in La.

Go play in traffic you dipshit.
No one is saying he will be a bust, he doesn't fit here. He wants to play LB and wont here, hell be better suited for the almighty Jack LB (thought I thought NS gave that position away 5-6 times in a class). The problem that people have is the shock reporting that ESPN does. They only name in #1 because it gets more clicks on their website. Everyone who know anything about this years La crop knows he isnt the #1 rated kid. Notice ESPN didnt have an article titled "#2 state of La Prospect stays home" when KB committed, because that doesnt make people want to click.

I know, right. Bama's classes always get rated so high. The bumps their kids get are ridiculous. It's not like those #1 classes have done anything on the field.
