There are plenty of ways to neutralize a good edge rusher. A dominant DT is more important than an edge rusher.

Look at the average salary of the positions in the NFL, it’s QB, Edge, OT. DT is 5th, behind WR.

I agree with your 3. As others have said, CB would be #4. And as far as who actually wins more games, I would say QB #1 and PK #2.

To your point... Brett Favre made Curley Hallman look like a genius when he was the Head Coach ...

We won several games on talent alone during the Les Miles era. Bill Belechik is one of the brightest football minds ever and he is dog shite at UNC. Jayden Daniels made Brian Kelly seem like a good coach. Your statement is simply untrue.

What happened to Miles on 1/9/12? He got out-coached under the fricking table.

How did we rise from the ashes in 2000 and win the SEC a year later and a BCS Title just two years later?

How did Clemson go on their run without having the best talent across the roster? Dabo had two elite assistants and created a winning culture. He hasn’t adapted to the major changes in the sport, but it doesn’t change what he was able to do there.

How did a team of 3 and low 4 stars just win a national title- elite coaching and development.

Coaching, especially elite coaching, still matters, dumbass. It ALWAYS matters.

Like O and Chizik, the idiots always get found out eventually. They will always hit a wall and frick it all up. And stubborn coaches who won’t adapt will have the trademark slow fade we saw from Fulmer, Mack Brown, Miles and now Dabo.

This doesn’t happen to elite coaches unless they hang around too long like Bowden and Bryant.

Anyone who says coaching doesn’t matter that much after watching Indiana this season is a fricking idiot.

An elite WR makes a qb prolific. A cb1 can be thrown away from and avoided.

An elite lockdown CB takes away one of your best WRs if you avoid him and removes 1/4 to 1/3 of the field every play.

An elite WR is pretty close, but the best CBs are paid what they are for a reason.

How long did Les coach here? You bring up one damn game to base your argument on? You would have been a great attorney. I am not under the delusion that Les was a great coach. I was just making a point.

Center is pretty important

Moore was one of the bright spots on the line. We should be in good shape.
